Story
Kassidy, my sweet girl, where do I start. You have had it bad since the day you were born and you cannot seem to catch a break. As a puppy you had parvo and you fought so hard to survive and you did. Then you were adopted and taken out of state with your family when they realized their senior dog was not as welcoming to you as they thought. They continued to try but returned you. Then you were adopted again but that too did not work out either, at no fault of your own. So we sent you to the PAW Prison Training Program where you quickly became attached to your handler and he learned how smart you are. You learned many commands such as sit, shake, down, lay, rollover, stay, come, heel, leave it, crawl, get it, sit pretty, and more. So why is Kassidy still available? Because it will take a special person to understand that she wants to be with her people and she is the best girl! She can have some separation anxiety but it is only because she wants to get back to you and that is it. She is not destructive as she just wants to get back to you and her family. With time she is easily taught that you will return and all is well. It will take a special person/family to adopt her. Are you that person?March 11, 2026, 2:39 pm

Story
Apollo is a 7 month old German Shepherd/Border Collie mix. He is a very sweet and playful dog! DISCLAIMER: I will be upfront about this dog's issues. Apollo really is a good dog and has potential to be a really good guard dog. HOWEVER, he has been having some behavioral issues. We're hoping this is just a phase he can break out of with training and proper exercise for him - He is very active. Unfortunately, with my new job and schedule, I won't have the time to properly care for him or give him the activity he deserves. I'm looking for a loving, stable home for Apollo!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Buddy first came to us as a young dog in 2014. He was adopted by a man who adored him, and together they built a life full of routine, comfort, and unconditional companionship. Buddy wasn’t just a pet — he was family. He was someone’s shadow, someone’s joy, someone’s reason to smile every single day. Recently, Buddy’s world changed in the most heartbreaking way. His dad passed away, and Buddy found himself back with us… confused, grieving, and trying to understand why the person he loved most isn’t coming back. And yet — Buddy’s spirit is still gentle, hopeful, and full of love he’s waiting to give again. Buddy is house trained, well mannered, and wonderfully social with other dogs. He’s great with kids 12+, knows his sit and paw commands, and walks beautifully on a leash. He loves his daily outings, and nothing makes his eyes light up like a ball. That simple game brings him pure joy. He’s sweet, affectionate, and playful, but also wise in the way only a dog who has truly loved and lost can be. He bonds deeply. He notices kindness. He appreciates gentleness. He feels everything. What Buddy needs now is someone who will give him what he once had: a home where he is cherished, understood, and loved without conditions. Someone who will let him heal. Someone who will let him belong again. If you’re looking for a dog who will love you with his whole soul… Buddy is waiting. GrandPaws applies to any dog age 7 years or older. The adoption fees are reduced to help offset veterinary costs that occur as dogs age.  If you would like to adopt a GrandPaws please complete our online application at www.cvrr.usVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 28, 2026, 3:53 pm

Story
Meet Bailey! 🐾 This gorgeous 1.5-year-old Border Collie mix weighs 42 pounds and is packed with personality, love, and energy! While Bailey looks like a Border Collie to us, we can’t know her breed for sure — it’s always our best guess based on appearance. 💕 She’s an active, playful girl who absolutely lights up when it’s time for fun, adventures, or simply being close to her favorite humans. Bailey has a sweet, loving nature and forms strong bonds with her people, making her the kind of companion who wants to be part of every moment. 🐶✨ Bailey is happiest when she’s included in the action and has plenty of opportunities to burn off her energy. Whether it’s playing fetch, going for walks, or zooming around the yard, this smart girl is always ready to go! 🦴🎾 One very important thing to know about Bailey is that she can jump fences — not because she wants to run away, but because she truly wants to be with her people. She’ll need a safe, secure environment and a family committed to keeping a close eye on her so she can stay happy and protected. ❤️ If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and energetic best friend who will keep life exciting and full of love, Bailey may just be your perfect match! 🐕💫 She’s ready to find a family that understands her active spirit and will give her the companionship and engagement she craves. Bailey has so much love to give and can’t wait to share her heart with her forever family. 🏡💕

Story
This pet is part of the rehoming program and is not in the care of the CCSPCA. Please read carefully and reach out to the owner directly via cell:559-759-2218 or email:rmafeb9@yahoo.com The owner states, “Ollie currently lives in a busy household with a 2 year old and newborn. He loves people, but does not get along well with other animals. We are unable to give Ollie the attention, exercise, and mental stimulation that he needs now that we have small children. Ollie would thrive in a household with a large backyard and lots of walks. He has not bitten anyone within the last 10 days. ” Due to the pet not being in our care, it is out of our control when and if the owner responds to your inquiry. Thank you.

Story
Cisco is a smart, eager-to-please, boy with a fun-loving, goofy personality. He has strong herding instincts that shine when he’s playing with other dogs or his humans. He’s super dog-friendly, naturally submissive, and picks up commands quickly. Cisco loves spending time outdoors, enjoys catching balls when he’s in the mood, and is perfectly content relaxing in his crate. He warms up to people once he gets to know them but likes having his own space. Being highly treat-motivated and still young, with the right guidance, Cisco is destined to become an incredible companion! Believe it or not, Cisco’s already ahead of the game when it comes to training! He’s a proud graduate of our PAWs to Prison program, where he mastered an incredible 19 commands — everything from “sit” to “get leash” and even “clean up.” Yes, you read that right — he’ll pick up his toys and drop them in a toy box! He also learned how to “carry” items with a handle, like a purse. Still not impressed? Just wait until he shows off with “get the remote!” Cisco isn’t just smart — he’s next-level clever. If he sounds like your kind of dude, submit an application to schedule a meet and greet!March 11, 2026, 2:39 pm
