This handsome boy is 3-year-old Moby and he's waiting for you at Satchel's! Moby can be a little shy of strangers but warms up quickly. He enjoys his walks with volunteers, followed by a nice cool down in the kiddie pool while he waits at the gate for his turn to return to his kennel. Moby is full of energy and is currently working with a trainer to learn basic understanding of what is acceptable behavior. Note from a volunteer: "Moby is a darling and very smart. He’s a “back scratch” grass loving boy who prefers water over land any day. He should’ve been a fish 🐠." Rocky is an amazing dog who has lived his entire life being loose on a farm in Kentucky. We sold our farm and are not able to provide him the attention and space he deserves and are looking for someone who can care for him. He is a great companion and loves to play fetch - he may have a few years on him, but he's still quite spry and definitely up for fun and games. He behaves very well around other dogs and is very mannered on a leash. He would make a great companion for anyone

She can be incredibly sweet and friendly, especially with people she trusts, and she still enjoys attention and gentle affection. That said, Chloe is a senior, and she has her moments—she likes things on her terms, appreciates her space, and isn’t afraid to let you know when she’s had enough. She’s not looking for chaos or constant activity; she’d much prefer a calm, predictable home where she can relax and be appreciated for who she is. Chloe would do best with someone who understands seniors and respects boundaries—someone who sees the beauty in a dog who’s lived a full life and just wants peace, comfort, and a little love.

Dakota is a 7 year old Border Collie, possible mix. My mom just went into a nursing home. Im allergic to fur, and I already own 3 non shedding schnauzers. Im moving and cant have 4 dogs. She loves children, but will chase cats. Shes not crazy about other female dogs, but gets along well with my males. Shes very sweet. Needs a home before I move in 3 weeks.
