Story
Archie 🥎🐾 Some dogs chase dreams… Archie prefers chasing tennis balls. This handsome 3-year-old, 42-pound Border Collie mix came to the shelter as a stray, so we don't know much about his past. What we do know is that he's a sweet guy who enjoys the simple things in life: a good game of fetch, tasty treats, gentle pets, and showing off his "sit" command. Archie can be a little head shy at first, so he'll appreciate someone who lets him build trust at his own pace. Once he knows you're a friend, his sweet personality starts to shine. Archie came to the shelter with another dog, but they are not bonded and are each looking for their own forever homes. Before heading home, Archie will be neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick who's always ready for one more throw of the ball, Archie is ready to meet you!

Story
Kleo is a very loving dog. She can be stubborn like most heelers but she is eager to please. She is house broke and goes in her kennel at night. She knows most basic commands. We received her when she was just a small puppy and she was raised on the farm. She could run around as she pleases and explores when she wanted. Unfortunately we had to move off the farm and into a small neighborhood. Where she is fine but is also digging out of our back yard which backs up to a very busy road. I do not want anything to happen to her so I think find a good home with lots of room for her to run would be great for her. She is super sweet, loves to cuddle and is also good with babies. We have a 3 month old and she respects his boundary very well.

Story
We are having to rehome Ollie as our living situation does not allow more dogs. Ollie loves to play, and would do best with a companion dog in the home, as he can suffer from separation anxiety when he is home alone. He very sociable with all ages. He loves water enjoys to run, jump, and play fetch. As a young dog, does not understand where he is in relation to people yet when moving, and sometimes bowls past small children in his excitement. He knows basic commands, such as sit, here, stay/"here" and has been trained to sit prior to eating before being released. He loves to snuggle at times. He can use some quality training including on a leash in outside settings. No issues with allergies. He is well housetrained and will sit by the door and "trill" when he needs to go outside. He will do his business quickly and come back on command. We were introducing short off leash training where he would stay close and for example go to the car. He loves car rides. He is very eager to please.

Story
I got this sweet boy while I was pregnant with my first child. While I was on maternity leave from my job, I took my time to train him the best I could. He’s house trained and I take him outside without a leash. He is a very hyper boy but listen very well. He loves to cuddle and to be petted. He’s great with my one year old and my nieces and nephews. Love camping but doesn’t like swimming, but enjoys showers. I wish I could keep him but sadly I am moving and the place I’m moving to does not allow his bread.

Story
Skipper's adoption is pending. He is getting a chance to see if he will work out with a prospective adopter. They took advantage of our Foster - to - Adopt program to give him a try in their own home. Meet Skipper! Skipper is approximately 5 years old. He came to as a stray, so we are still learning about him. He is still very new to us and is a little timid at first but he is a sweet boy and warms up quickly to you. He loves to play fetch, so get your pitching arm ready! He ignored the office cat when they met -- he was more interested in playing ball! Skipper looks like a McNab to us and would do best in a home with a yard. He appears to be house trained. But as with any new dog in your home, he will need to learn your routine as you will need to learn his cues that he needs to go out.  All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. If the dog is not old enough, you will be given a voucher for Animal Medical Center in Emmett to cover the cost of the spay or neuter. Please fill out an application if you are interested in this dog or call us today for more information.         Because we are an all-volunteer organization, please call ahead to schedule a time for a Meet & Greet so we can ensure a dog handler is available to show you the dog or dogs you are interested in.         Pet Adoption League  1526 N. Story
🐾 Meet Jethro – The Enthusiastic Sidekick! 🐾 Every adventure needs someone who's all in—and that's Jethro! This 1½-year-old, 71-pound Australian Cattle Dog (Red Heeler) mix believes life is best lived with happy feet, wagging tails, and plenty of excitement. Jethro came to the shelter as a stray alongside his friend Ida, and he's been winning hearts ever since with his sweet personality. Walks are one of his favorite activities... although he sometimes gets so excited that he forgets you're attached to the other end of the leash! With a little training and consistency, he'll be ready to turn those enthusiastic strolls into smooth adventures. Like his friend Ida, Jethro can be reactive around other dogs, so a mandatory meet and greet is required before adoption to make sure everyone starts off on the right paw. We also recommend kids 10+ to keep everyone safe. Jethro will be neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations before heading home. If you're looking for a fun-loving partner who's always ready to say "Let's go!", Jethro is packed and waiting!

Story
🌎 Atlas: Your Next Great Adventure Starts Here! 🌎 Meet Atlas, a 6-year-old, 59-pound Cattle Dog mix who's ready to find a place to call home! This handsome guy came to the shelter as a stray and was friendly from the start. While he's a little under-socialized and appreciates people who will let him warm up at his own pace, he's already shown he enjoys gentle pets and, if you've got treats, you'll definitely have his attention! Atlas is food motivated, isn't too interested in toys, and would much rather spend quality time with his people. Because he can be a little unsure at times, we recommend a home with children 8 years or older. The best part? Atlas is already neutered and ready to head home today! If you're looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little patience and a lot of love, Atlas is ready to make your home his forever destination.
