💎 SADIE (4 years old, 35 lbs) — The Silly, Joyful Doll Currently in Boise, ID SADIE is a total gem. She is incredibly smart, learns lightning-fast, and is 1000% a couch-cuddle enthusiast. She is amazing at fetch and will even happily entertain herself playing with tennis balls. She has the best personality. When she's correcting a behavior, she'll give you a little sideways glance and a grumble to "speak her displeasure," but she always listens! With all that she’s been through, she may easily be overexcited, but she calms down quickly with love and reassurance. SADIE is great on a loose leash and good in a vehicle. She loves her crate! It’s her wonderful spot for nervous system breaks and helps her sleep soundly through the night. SADIE prefers humans over other dogs, but has always lived with and played with other dogs. She can be a little bossy and likes to be front and center, but she’s learning to share beautifully! A meet with any future resident dog is required. 🏡 Ideal Home: A family that has plenty of time for couch snuggling and will cherish SADIE's intelligence. PHOTOS/VIDEOS: https://photos.app.goo.gl/sniMK2mDvipAJy9V6 📥 How to Adopt: 📍 Location: Boise 📝 Apply Online: https://forms.gle/U3UUbdpNzZVpxP9h8 🔄 Please SHARE this post! Every single share helps this gal find the forever couch she deserves. BACKGROUND: SADIE lived with two other big dogs and was a long-time customer of Emerald Street Kennels, but her owner died. She is currently in a foster home with other dogs, but we would like to find her furever home.

Meet Astro! 🚀 If your idea of a perfect day involves hiking trails, tossing toys, learning new tricks, and having a loyal sidekick by your side, Astro might just be your guy. Astro is a 1.5-year-old Border Collie mix with a big heart, a sharp mind, and enough enthusiasm to make every day an adventure. He loves toys, loves treats, and absolutely loves spending time with his people. Whether you’re teaching him a new cue or playing fetch in the backyard, Astro is happiest when he’s part of the action. Like many clever young herding dogs, Astro is still polishing his manners, but he’s an incredibly quick learner and eager to work for both food and praise. He can sometimes be a little unsure of new things and may bark to let you know he’s noticed something suspicious. **Give him a chance to investigate, though, and he quickly realizes the world isn’t so scary after all.** Astro is looking for an active home—ideally with herding breed experience—that will keep both his body and his brain busy. In return, you’ll get a sweet, affectionate companion who is ready to be your adventure buddy and training partner. Astro is: 🐾 Good with other dogs 🐾 Good with dog-savvy cats 🐾 Good with kids (older kids recommended because his excitement can accidentally knock over little ones) 🐾 Friendly with people 🐾 Crate trained 🐾 Neutered 🐾 Up to date on vaccines Astro isn’t looking for a couch potato lifestyle—he’s looking for a teammate. If you’re ready for a smart, fun-loving dog who will keep you smiling and always be up for the next adventure, Astro is ready to launch into his forever home. Astro's adoption fee is $350 and includes neuter, vaccinations and microchip. If interested in meeting Astro please complete an application located here: https://idawg.org/application

Story
I need to find a new home for my 9-week-old Border Collie/Golden Retriever cross puppy due to an unexpected change in my rental situation. My landlord has informed me that I am unable to keep a dog, so I am looking for a responsible and caring family who can give this puppy the home he deserves. He is very affectionate and good with other dogs at this point.

Story
🐢 Cowabunga, dudes! We've got a special news report from the Turtle Lair! 🐢 Leonardo: "Attention, team! We'd like to introduce someone pretty awesome—this is April! She's a 7-year-old, 57-pound Border Collie who's spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccines." Michelangelo: "She came in as a stray, but trust me, this girl deserves a totally tubular forever home... and maybe a snack or two. Actually, make that ALL the snacks!" Donatello: "Confirmed. April is highly motivated by food and treats, making positive reinforcement an excellent training strategy. Additional discovery: she absolutely loves playing in water! Splashing around is one of her favorite side quests." Raphael: "She can be friendly, but she's got opinions—and honestly, I respect that. She's not always comfortable around men, and she doesn't always click with other dogs, so she'll need a mandatory meet and greet with any potential canine roommates." Michelangelo: "Hey, everybody's got their preferences! Mine's pizza. Hers? Treats and making the biggest splash possible!" Leonardo: "As a senior girl, April is looking for a family that understands she's earned the right to take life at her own pace. Give her patience, respect, a few tasty treats, and maybe a kiddie pool, and you'll have a loyal teammate for life." All the Turtles: "If you're ready to give this amazing girl the happy ending she deserves, come meet April. Trust us... this is one mission you'll be glad you accepted! Cowabunga! 🐾💚"

This sweet girl is a bit timid and head shy at first, but she’s just looking for a patient, understanding home where she can feel safe. Maple needs to be the only pet in the home. If you’re ready to help a shy girl blossom Maple might be your perfect match. 🐶✨

Story
🐾 FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED MEET BANDIT! Location: Boise, ID (Boarding) Profile: ~1.5 years old | 32 lbs | Red Heeler, Kelpie & Shepherd Mix BANDIT is a stunning, medium-sized pup with soulful eyes and a heart of gold. Abandoned on a farm last November, he is more than ready to trade the boarding kennel for a cozy couch. Why you’ll love him: • Polite & Quiet: He walks perfectly on a leash, ignores other dogs, and makes a cute "dolphin squeak" when happy! • Couch Companion: He loves lounging and will even hide his nose in a blanket if the TV is too loud. • Smart & Eager: He’s mastered "sit" and knows the "go potty" command. • Sweet Stuff: He lives for chin scratches and being towel-dried after adventures. The Quirks: BANDIT is a "Yarn Bandit" (he’ll sneak balls of yarn from your craft basket) and has a high prey drive for squirrels. He’s also been known to "counter surf" if snacks are left in reach! We recently learned that BANDIT is a big fan of the ladies. We are looking for a female adopter for him. Health: Neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Maddie is 13 years old but still energetic and full of life. She loves walks and running in a yard. She's a cattle dog, so she does follow you around, or she will just sit there most of the day near you. Unfortunately, due to declining health and moving, I can't keep her. She's good with other dogs and cats and has lived with both most of her life. The only thing showing her age is her hearing isn't as good as it used to be.
