5 year old Border Collie / Catahoula Leopard mix looking for a loving forever home. He is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves people, kids, and cuddling. He enjoys playing fetch, going on walks, and would do best with an active lifestyle and a yard where he can run and play. He is friendly with cats and small dogs, but he needs to be the only large dog in the home because he recently has been aggressive towards other big dogs. I think it’s from being scared and anxious from moving around. He pulls on the leash but I have recently started leash training him. He is fully vaccinated and has completely recovered from surgery after being hit by a car this past summer. He knows commands and can pick up tricks pretty quickly. Unfortunately, I cannot keep him because my mom sold her house and I’m unable to care for him properly in my apartment, especially with my school and work schedule.

Sprite is a smol but mighty mix of Border Collie and ACD (confirmed by Embark), and she embodies the best of both worlds: athletic, intelligent, and endlessly curious. At just 8 months old, she’s already fast, agile, and loves to climb, explore, and zoom through life with a big grin. She’s a toy chaser extraordinaire who hasn’t quite mastered fetch or tug yet, but she’s eager to learn — especially if snacks are involved! Sprite is highly food motivated, quick to pick up new skills, and thrives with regular exercise and mental challenges. She’s crate trained, potty trained, and travels like a pro, though she’s still polishing her indoor manners. Sprite has great recall on the trail, loves hiking, and yes — she swims (see video)! She adores people and other dogs, though her play style leans toward the rowdy side. She reads other dogs well, but she’ll need continued guidance for polite greetings and managing her barrier reactivity. Because of her high herding drive and enthusiasm, she’s best suited for homes without young kids or cats (chasing is her favorite sport). Meet Felix! Looking for an active home. Felix is a 3-year-old, 40 pound Border Collie mix who loves to stay active and engaged with his people. His favorite game is fetch, and he’s great at it — he brings the toy back and drops it for you, ready to keep playing. If you’re looking for a dog who truly enjoys interactive play, Felix will happily be your partner. He’s very smart and highly food motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. He enjoys learning new skills and would do well in a home that can provide regular mental and physical exercise. He would also be a great match for someone interested in dog sports like frisbee, agility, and trick training. Felix is mostly neutral around other dogs and tends to ignore them in favor of focusing on his person and his toys. Felix can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly when play is involved. He would be best in a home with children 12+ who can respect his space and enjoy his active play style. Felix currently lives with cats in his foster home, but he does like to chase if given the opportunity. ***NEEDS FOREVER HOME*** Currently in Boise BANDIT is a ~2-year-old, 32-lb long-haired, medium-sized pup with gorgeous eyes that is a mix likely of red heeler, kelpie, and shepherd. BANDIT walks well on leash ignores other friendly dogs. He knows ‘go potty’ when out in the yard. He does well in vehicles too. BANDIT has just about mastered the “sit” command. We are still working on “paw” command and recall. Of course, all of those commands are ineffective if a squirrel is spotted! We suspect high prey drive. BANDIT is learning to play—likes crinkle toys. He is usually unaffected by TV noise when lying beside his people on the couch, but will turn away and hide his eyes and nose in the blanket when it is too loud. He is still cautious around people when they are walking around. He seems to like cooler environments (pants to cool off if on cushy blanket). He loves scratches on his ears, chin and neck. He enjoys rub-downs with a towel to dry off. He is quiet (no barking), but has shared a cute Dolphin squeek. BANDIT is not yet perfect…He sneaks balls of yarn out of project baskets. He has been caught counter surfing when there was some dog food left out. BANDIT is current on his health vaccines, neutered and microchipped for his forever family.
