Story
Twiggy comes to us from a rural Utah shelter where she was a stray and went unclaimed. Whoever owned her is missing out on a great dog. Twiggy is about 2 years old and about 36 pounds. We beileve she is a purebred, smooth coat border collie. Her coat is a deep red color. Twiggy is now crate trained and house trained. She rides well in the car and gets along well with other dogs. She's quite playful with puppies. She will make a great companion or a fun sports dog. Twiggy barks when it's appropriate, but is not a nuisance barker. She is friendly to new people. She is always looking to her foster mom for What's Next! We aren't sure how Twiggy is with cats. Twiggy's adoption fee is $350 and includes spay, vaccinations and microchip. If you are interested in possibly adopting Twiggy, please complete an adoption application located here: https://idawg.org/application.html

Story
Briggs is a stunning 3-year-old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd with plenty of energy. He is about 40ish pounds and a medium size dog. He can play fetch for hours and enjoys walks. He can be a sweet, loving, and an amazing companion. He comes when called and will often follow basic commands. He snuggles up on the bed if you want him there but will sleep other places if you don’t. He likes to ride in the car and be with people. He is house trained and is incredibly smart. Briggs has been good with our kids so far. If you can get him to not pull, he would be an amazing running companion. Unfortunately, he isn’t perfect. He isn't good with other pets (cats or dogs). We have a 13-year-old border collie who Briggs has aggressively rolled a few times. Despite my efforts, he pulls hard when walking on a leash. His anxiety turns frantic when he sees or hears another dog. He does not like being pulled away from the door by his collar and will snarl. Let me know if you're interested.

Story
Hank is a handsome and healthy 6 year old border collie / aussie mix. He is a smart dog and quick to learn. He loves endlessly pets, is food and job motivated, and wants to be by your side. He's gone to dog training classes and quickly picked up commands like come, stay, and place. He loves playing fetch with a ball and even hide and seek with the ball! He's been part of a two dog household but he's not sure about new dogs when they first meet. His herding instincts kick in which can cause an unwanted altercation. A successful new home for him would be with an owner that has time to continue his training and either someone who enjoys high endurance walks/runs or had a larger yard/anchorage for epic fetch sessions.
