WOOF! I'M ROCCO! I'm a 2-year-old Border Collie-Flat-Coat mix in need of a foster or forever home! I was recently rescued from a crowded California shelter, where I was impounded as a stray. I then was adopted, but returned less than 24 hours later as someone in the house had allergies. Fortunately I was rescued and now am ready for a foster or forever home! I have done great with other dogs and am a happy, playful boy. I love to play with other dogs and hang out with humans. I weigh 59 lbs. Could you foster or adopt me? This adorable girl is believed to be a Border Collie mix and was brought in as a stray, so we are still learning more about her personality and preferences. She's still young, we're guessing around 1-2 years.  Callie is very friendly and has beautiful white and black fur that makes her especially eye catching. With her sweet personality and cute looks, she’s sure to steal hearts wherever she goes! All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. If the dog is not old enough, you will be given a voucher for Animal Medical Center in Emmett to cover the cost of the spay or neuter. Below is what I sent to the website: Dear IDAWG folks--I have a brother that suddenly passed away 3 weeks ago. He left behind a 6yr old pure-bred Border Collie that I need to find a home for. He is a super good boy who is well trained, knows his commands, and is very loving. Currently he is very sad and doesn't get where his "herder" is. I can't take him and need to find him an appropriate home. It of course has to be a home that "gets" Borders as he constantly herds and is mission focused. Plus he is sad and confused and will need a lot of love and patience. Can you help?
