Story
Archie 🥎🐾 Some dogs chase dreams… Archie prefers chasing tennis balls. This handsome 3-year-old, 42-pound Border Collie mix came to the shelter as a stray, so we don't know much about his past. What we do know is that he's a sweet guy who enjoys the simple things in life: a good game of fetch, tasty treats, gentle pets, and showing off his "sit" command. Archie can be a little head shy at first, so he'll appreciate someone who lets him build trust at his own pace. Once he knows you're a friend, his sweet personality starts to shine. Archie came to the shelter with another dog, but they are not bonded and are each looking for their own forever homes. Before heading home, Archie will be neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick who's always ready for one more throw of the ball, Archie is ready to meet you!

Dexter is a 7-year-old dog with a big heart and lots of energy. He loves people, enjoys being active, and his favorite thing in the world is chasing a frisbee. Story
Skipper's adoption is pending. He is getting a chance to see if he will work out with a prospective adopter. They took advantage of our Foster - to - Adopt program to give him a try in their own home. Meet Skipper! Skipper is approximately 5 years old. He came to as a stray, so we are still learning about him. He is still very new to us and is a little timid at first but he is a sweet boy and warms up quickly to you. He loves to play fetch, so get your pitching arm ready! He ignored the office cat when they met -- he was more interested in playing ball! Skipper looks like a McNab to us and would do best in a home with a yard. He appears to be house trained. But as with any new dog in your home, he will need to learn your routine as you will need to learn his cues that he needs to go out.  All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. If the dog is not old enough, you will be given a voucher for Animal Medical Center in Emmett to cover the cost of the spay or neuter. Please fill out an application if you are interested in this dog or call us today for more information.         Because we are an all-volunteer organization, please call ahead to schedule a time for a Meet & Greet so we can ensure a dog handler is available to show you the dog or dogs you are interested in.         Pet Adoption League  1526 N. Story
I got this sweet boy while I was pregnant with my first child. While I was on maternity leave from my job, I took my time to train him the best I could. He’s house trained and I take him outside without a leash. He is a very hyper boy but listen very well. He loves to cuddle and to be petted. He’s great with my one year old and my nieces and nephews. Love camping but doesn’t like swimming, but enjoys showers. I wish I could keep him but sadly I am moving and the place I’m moving to does not allow his bread.

Story
I got my dog when I was younger and with more disposable income but I can't afford to live anywhere affordable in town without them telling me no pets. I also need to get a second job just to not be homeless in the next few months and already struggle to give my boy exercise and attention which I feel terrible for, nor do I have access to other pets or a backyard anymore. He's really a sweet dog and as I hate to say it, almost anyone but me will be an improvement in his life. Please let me know soon.
