Story
🧺 Meet Nana – Your Loyal Family Nanny! 🧺 If the name sounds familiar, it's because Nana is just as devoted as the famous canine caretaker! This 7-year-old, 57-pound Border Collie mix may not fly through the skies, but she's more than ready to watch over her forever family with love and loyalty. Nana is a smart girl who already knows her basic commands, appears to be house trained, and is always happy to earn a tasty treat. As a seasoned lady, she's traded puppy antics for good manners and quality time with her favorite people. Like any good nanny, Nana knows what she likes. She can be selective about other dogs and isn't always comfortable around men, so a mandatory meet and greet is required to help make sure everyone is a good match. This sweet senior is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations, and she's ready to settle into a home where she can enjoy leisurely walks, cozy naps, and plenty of snacks along the way. If you're looking for a loyal companion who's already mastered the basics and is ready to become part of the family, Nana is waiting to meet you! ❤️🐾

❄️ Forecast: 100% Chance of Cuddles! Meet Blizzard! ❄️ Don't let the name fool you—Blizzard is much more interested in warming your lap than causing a snowstorm! This 2-year-old, 27-pound Border Collie mix came to the shelter as a stray and was a little nervous at first, but he's been showing us what a sweet boy he really is. Blizzard is a bit undersocialized and startles easily, so he's looking for a patient family that will help him build confidence at his own pace. Once you've earned his trust, though, this affectionate guy transforms into a total cuddle bug who thinks laps are the best place to be! A few tasty treats don't hurt either—he's somewhat food motivated, which makes winning him over even easier. Because he can be startled by sudden movements or surprises, we recommend a home with kids 6 and older. Blizzard will be neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations before heading home. If you're looking for a loyal companion who blossoms with kindness and rewards your patience with snuggles, Blizzard is ready to melt your heart.

Meet Sadie – Ready for Her Next Chapter! 🐾❤️ Sadie is a 9-month-old, 53-pound Border Collie mix with a sweet heart and a bright future ahead of her. She's still a young pup, and while her past is a bit of a mystery, she's ready to leave it behind and find a family who will help her grow in confidence. Sadie can be a little flinchy at first, so she appreciates gentle introductions and patient people who let her warm up at her own pace. Once she knows she's safe, her sweet personality begins to shine. As a young Border Collie mix, Sadie will enjoy a home that can keep both her mind and body active with walks, playtime, and plenty of opportunities to learn. With kindness, consistency, and lots of encouragement, she's sure to blossom into a wonderful companion. Sadie is already spayed and microchipped and will be up to date on her vaccinations before going home. Story
Meet Skipper! Skipper is approximately 5 years old. He came to as a stray, so we are still learning about him. He is still very new to us and is a little timid at first but he is a sweet boy and warms up quickly to you. He loves to play fetch, so get your pitching arm ready! He ignored the office cat when they met -- he was more interested in playing ball! Skipper looks like a McNab to us and would do best in a home with a yard. He appears to be house trained. But as with any new dog in your home, he will need to learn your routine as you will need to learn his cues that he needs to go out.  All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. If the dog is not old enough, you will be given a voucher for Animal Medical Center in Emmett to cover the cost of the spay or neuter. Please fill out an application if you are interested in this dog or call us today for more information.         Because we are an all-volunteer organization, please call ahead to schedule a time for a Meet & Greet so we can ensure a dog handler is available to show you the dog or dogs you are interested in.         Pet Adoption League  1526 N. Story
I got this sweet boy while I was pregnant with my first child. While I was on maternity leave from my job, I took my time to train him the best I could. He’s house trained and I take him outside without a leash. He is a very hyper boy but listen very well. He loves to cuddle and to be petted. He’s great with my one year old and my nieces and nephews. Love camping but doesn’t like swimming, but enjoys showers. I wish I could keep him but sadly I am moving and the place I’m moving to does not allow his bread.
