Story
Tommy is a 1 year old Border Collie mix with bright eyes and a busy brain, the kind of dog who is always ready for the next assignment. He was surrendered for not being the right fit for his previous family, but that just means his perfect match is still out there.Tommy does jump when he gets excited, so he would do best in a home with kids 8 and up who can handle his enthusiasm. He keeps his kennel clean when let out regularly, walks nicely on a leash, and takes treats gently. He is also a big fan of chewing on bones, happily settling in once his energy has had a proper outlet. He gets along well with other dogs but would prefer a cat free home. With structure, activity, and someone who appreciates a smart, active companion, Tommy will absolutely thrive. He is ready to trade “not the right fit” for “home at last.”

Story
Orion is an amazing, affectionate, happy dog. He is house trained and able to roam freely while you are gone during the day. He is not destructive in the house, even when left for long periods of time. He loves to be pet & is gentle when accepting treats. Orion never met a person who was not his friend. While he likes to take walks and run the yard a bit, he mostly prefers to be inside hanging out on his bed or the couch, if permitted. Orion is able to follow these commands consistently: sit, come, off, out. Orion will also follow a "stay" command but is still working on consistency. He understands, "Do you want to go outside?" and "Do you want to go for a walk?" He will excitedly run toward his leash and the door. He gets along well with cats. Recommend slow intro to dogs. Due to significant changes in family & finances, we cannot afford to have pets, but want Orion to be in a loving home. I am certain you will not regret adoption Orion!

Story
Collie Mix Clyde was relinquished by no fault of his own. This is a nice boy who is good with other dogs & with people. He is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His approx. birth date is 07/04/25 and he currently weighs 41.2#. We are guessing at his breed make up. He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. His adoption donation is $300 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need. We do not ship or transport. Please email for an application if you would like to provide this nice kid with his forever home. ##2626405##

Story
Meet Orion.  He is just the sweetest boy ever. He is great with most other dogs, cats, and kids.  He can be a bit dog selective, but he is easily redirected. He is potty trained, and doesn't need to be crated. He is such a gentle, sweet boy.  He would love to find a new home with kids as he adores them, but he would be fine in a home without them as well provided his new owners agree to his cuddle requirements.  He loves to run around the yard and play, he walks great on a leash, and is also happy chilling on the couch watching tv or reading a book, whatever you like. Orion has had quite the run of bad luck and we are just heartbroken for him. He first arrived at the shelter because his family had a fire and they could not keep any of their pets due to having to stay with family and friends. They were devestated to leave him. And we know why, because Orion is just the best boy, so well mannered and friendly and loving. He was adopted from us to another family, which then had to move out of their house due to their personal circumstances and were not able to take their pets with them. Orion is looking for another chance to live in a home with a loving family. Come meet Orion and we know you will fall in love with him, just like all of the volunteers at the shelter. Adoption fee is pre-paid.  ##2012207##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Brie is a 9-year old BC/Rat Terrier mix who is in need of a forever home due to allergies of the newborn child of her owners in her current home.  She is a well-behaved, playful girl and seems to get along well with people and other dogs, and likely even with cats, although her exposure to them has been limited. Her owners say this about Brie: Brie , Breed: Border Collie, Rat Terrier mix , Age: Approx. 9 years old , Health: No current healthconcerns. She is up to date on Rabies shot. Her annual is due but I will get that done soon. She isspayed.Description: She is very lovable and loves her people. She can be a good guard dog but knowswhen to stand down. She can be vocal and is very vocal when with dogs bigger than her. She's notafraid to establish her space and boundaries if need be; however, she is not one to bite others at all - She is a sweetheart. She can get defensive around big dogs but all she does is bark. She barks when she plays too so it may seem as if she's being aggressive but she's really just playing. She is good withpeople, kids, and other dogs. She will lay on the couch with you or sit/lay on the ground next to you and watch TV. She's still active for a 9 year old and can jump when excited. She loves to run and havespace - though gated is best. She is leash trained, but needs the leash. I am doing research on the best place to take her because I know she can be in a loving home. I have a bed, kennel, blankets, vest, brushes, heartworm medicine and more that she will go with. Last check up date: 09/29/23, Center Hill Animal Clinic , Reason for rehome: newborn is allergic If you would like to meet or know more about Brie, please contact her owners at carlton95moore@hotmail.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2026, 2:31 pm
