Meet Marius! Marius is a 2–3 year old Border Collie mix (50–60 lbs) with the heart of a cuddle bug and the brain of a true working dog. He’s goofy, affectionate, and famous for giving full-on hugs (wrapping his paws around you and resting his head on your shoulder). He’s great with kids, friendly with everyone, and gets along well with other dogs. Marius is crate- and potty-trained and can be left alone or crated during a full workday. He loves long walks, fetch, tug-of-war, and running around the yard herding his people. He’s smart, eager to learn, and happiest when he has a job and daily activity. He does best with an active person or family and a yard to run in. He sheds and loves the outdoors. The classic Border Collie life! Marius was fostered temporarily, but we need to find him a permanent home that better fits his high-energy, working-breed needs. He’s an amazing dog ready to give his whole heart to the right family. 🐾

He has made slow, steady progress — on his terms — and is now ready for the next chapter of his life. 🧬 Personality Ma-eum is a quiet, thoughtful boy with a soft energy. He feels safest around gentle women with warm voices, and he truly thrives in calm, peaceful homes. He may keep his distance from men indoors, but sometimes shows more courage when outdoors. He isn’t the kind of dog who will run into your arms — but with time and patience, he’ll follow you anywhere. He enjoys peaceful walks, nosework games, gentle pets, and long naps by your side.
