Story
Tommy is a one yr old Border collie mix that was adopted from a Texas rescue. He went to a house with 2 littles under 4 and he turned out to be too much puppy for the family. He is a very active puppy (this is natural to his breed) and that is where we came in as fosters. He would do great with kids 8 and older due to his size and playful nature. He gets along with cats but sometimes his herding nature takes over and he will chase them. He does not hurt them just enjoys a good chase. We have 2 cats and a small dog in the house. Tommy enjoys tearing up a good stuffy toy but does not chew on anything else. He is totally potty trained and does well in a crate, although I have never used it with him. He has been with us about a month so I would love for him to find his furever home before he gets to attached here. He will come with a harness and leashes and a few extras. He has a years' worth of flea protection as well.

Hi! My name is Miley. I’m a very sweet, one year old girl. Not much is known about my previous history besides being from Kentucky. I am doing great with my foster family; they have young kids, a female dog and a male cat. I love belly rubs and being near my people. I love to lay my head in your lap and snuggle on the couch. I am eager to please, especially for cheese! I’m learning basic commands and fully crate trained at night. I’m still learning to walk on a leash without pulling but I am fully potty trained!  Are you my forever home? You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Spirit is a young Border Collie who was adopted recently by her current owner from what that owner describes as 'a bad situation.'  Her owner says Spirit is a lovely dog but is not fitting in with the resident dogs in her current home, and so is available for adoption. While Spirit and the resident dogs in her current home do not get along, this does not mean that Spirit will react negatively to all dogs in general; however, a potential owner should be aware of this and that Spirit may want to be an only dog in her home.  She is accepting of adults and older children, but will chase cats if the opportunity arises.  Since Spirit is living in Kentucky and is not being kept on heartworm preventive, she will need to be tested for heartworm and a potential owner should make this a priority. Spirit's current owner says that she is a 'Shy loving border collie that needs someone who knows how to work with them. Might not like other dogs.' Meet Winnie, a beautiful 5-year-old blue heeler/Australian cattle dog mix (born March 2020) who’s looking for a calm, adult-only forever home where she can truly shine. Winnie is timid and slow to warm up with new people or situations, but once she feels safe and comfortable, she’s incredibly sweet, loyal, and affectionate. She loves going on walks (does great on her prong collar), is highly treat-driven for training, and thrives with positive reinforcement. She sometimes prefers her own space, such as a cage with a comfy bed. She will do best in a peaceful household without children and someone willing to keep her active. Spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and house-trained.
