Story
Skippy is a an awesome dog, but he does try to “herd” kids. He would do best as the only pet in an adult household. He will make someone very happy. We are devastated to give up this part of the family, but we are not able to take him where we’re going. He’s sooo lovable and knows all basic commands except for fetch. He does hug on command, but be ready for him to put his paws on your shoulders.

Story
Cute and soft and oh so cuddly! Spencer is a 7-month-old male Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix who currently weighs in at approximately 33 pounds with a little bit of growing still to do. We estimate he will be around 40 pounds full grown, give or take a little bit. Spencer came to us via the Mahoning County Dog Pound where he came in as a stray. Tough life for such a young pup. Spencer is something of a calm puppy, very eager to please, very into people of all shapes and sizes, very squishy, and with a soft temperament to match his ridiculously soft coat. Spence is quite a sensitive little soul - he takes things hard and would do best with a family that will use primarily positive methods in working with and training him. He can be a bit of a submissive urinator, but we believe that as he becomes more confident, and grows up, this will end. The confidence will be easy in the right home - he just needs structure, boundaries, rules that don`t change from moment to moment, and stability. Imagine a puppy being ousted from the only home he has ever known, to live life on the streets. That might would cause anyone to have a few submissive potty issues...even a person. Spencer seems to get along well with other dogs though a meet and greet would absolutely be required. He is by no means a pushy or bossy dog and would probably do well with both friendly males and females. Cats are unknown, but while he may do some chasing, a dog savvy cat is probably going to be fine. We can check his reaction to seeing feline friends upon request. Spencer would probably be fine with respectful children who know how to conduct themselves around dogs and who could be gentle and kind with him. He isn`t timid or scared, he`s just very soft and sweet - to that end, rowdy and rough kids will likely be too much.Spencer will need to continue his journey to being a grown up dog and will need a family that understands that fact. He will need to go places, see things, learn lots - all with YOU! Socialization is just about as important as training, and we can assume that Spencer hasn`t seen a lot of much in his relatively short life. That is where his forever and ever owners will come in! He walks well on a leash already, rides well in a car, and just needs some fine tuning with all the rest. Spencer is waiting to clear medical and should be ready for his new home in approximately 7-10 days, give or take. We are taking applications on him in the me

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi I am a very smart 56 pound collie mix looking for my forever family.A kind lady took me in because my previous owner could not care for me any more.Unfortunately she can't keep me because I scare her cats.I have to chase them every time I see them(I am told I have something called a high prey drive, don't get me started on squirrels.)As you can see in my video I am very smart learning new things very quickly.I get so excited and proud of myself when I learn something new and hear those words 'good boy' My favorite thing is to be with my people and make them happy.I also love rolling in the grass, chasing things and playing with other pups, and eating string cheese.I have always lived with another dog so would do best in a family that already has a pup that I can be friends with.I am crate trained and good on a leash.I have started a 10 lesson training session to make me even better on leash, more comfortable with my nails being done and a couple of other manner things to help me be even better then I already am.If a family adopts me before they are over guess what, that family gets the rest of the training sessions with me!Isnt that awesome? Are you looking for a second fur baby in your home to shower you with love and fun? Here I am!    Fenced in yard is required. No small children or cats please. Story
Daisy is a loving 7 month old puppy. She will greet you with belly rubs and hugs. We are looking to rehome her due to behavioral issues of food aggression. She tends to counter and table surf and if we correct her with food she has taken she becomes aggressive and bites at our hands and arms. She has never showed this aggression to the toddler and seems to understand being gentle with the toddler. She has bitten myself and husband leaving blood blisters. She is still working on house training but will often cue when she needs to go potty. Unfortunately our work schedules and having a toddler in the home do not allow us the time she needs to work on behavioral and potty training. She would benefit from a family with a fenced yard for running and one who has time to dedicate to training. She is highly intelligent and has picked up on commands and a few tricks we have worked on with her. She is kennel trained and will come with a plethora of toys and a kennel.

Story
Westin is a sweet 4.5 month puppy! His favorite toy is our diy flirt pole and enjoys beef check chews. He lives with 3 cats.We think he would do really well with another dog to play and wrestle with. Energetic, but not too rowdy or rambunctious, he’s a pretty chill guy!He is a good dog who takes to commands quickly but we have less time than we had anticipated to interact with him as much as he deserves. He completed the pet shop puppy class and learned a few basic commandsUp to date on all shots and flea/tick medications.
