Story
Daisy is a loving 7 month old puppy. She will greet you with belly rubs and hugs. We are looking to rehome her due to behavioral issues of food aggression. She tends to counter and table surf and if we correct her with food she has taken she becomes aggressive and bites at our hands and arms. She has never showed this aggression to the toddler and seems to understand being gentle with the toddler. She is still working on house training but will often cue when she needs to go potty. Unfortunately our work schedules and having a toddler in the home do not allow us the time she needs to work on behavioral and potty training. She would benefit from a family with a fenced yard for running and one who has time to dedicate to training. She is highly intelligent and has picked up on commands and a few tricks we have worked on with her. She is kennel trained and will come with a plethora of toys and a kennel.

Story
Mylo is a sweet senior Border Collie mix, a little over 11, who has the gentlest soul and a goofy charm that shows once he feels safe. He came from a hoarding situation but has grown into a calm, loving dog who enjoys treats, car rides, slow walks, and rolling in the grass. He’s great with kids and cats, does well at the vet and groomer, and mostly spends his days napping peacefully. Mylo is urine incontinent and wears reusable diapers, and I’ll provide plenty for his new home; he also has mild arthritis but is fully up‑to‑date on shots and vet care. I’m rehoming him due to job loss and financial strain, and my only hope is that someone with a patient heart can give him the quiet, comfortable retirement he deserves.

Story
Marina - or `Shy` as her foster lovingly (and ironically) calls her - is a big girl. She will be your adventure hiking buddy and your fluffy heating blanket for cold winter nights because snuggling up in front of a fire after a hike is her favorite. She has been playing with dogs off leash and done super well with them. And if you happen to be a single female who loves to walk alone, Marina is the perfect guardian angel to have with you.

Story
Meet CJ! CJ is a handsome 43-pound Lab mix who is estimated to be 2-3 years old. This gentle boy arrived at our shelter with his brother, Frankie, after their beloved owner passed away. Their owner`s landlord lovingly cared for both dogs until they could be safely surrendered to our shelter.CJ has been an absolute sweetheart since arriving. While he`s excited to get outside and enjoy some fresh air, he`s the calmer of the two brothers and has a gentle, easygoing personality that makes him a joy to be around. With his medium energy level, CJ enjoys spending time outdoors, taking leisurely walks, and would be perfectly content lounging in a sunny spot. In fact, his dream home would include a fenced yard where he can safely explore, stretch out, and soak up the sunshine.CJ walks nicely on a leash, making him an excellent companion for neighborhood strolls or peaceful walks through the park. He has been a polite and sweet shelter guest, winning over everyone he meets with his kind nature.CJ is reported to be dog-friendly. As always, if you have a resident canine, a meet-and-greet is required to ensure everyone is a perfect match. He has not been exposed to cats, and his compatibility with children is currently unknown.CJ is available through our Foster-to-Adopt Program, which means you can welcome him home now while he finishes his veterinary care with the shelter. During this time, he`ll receive his vaccines, neuter, microchip, and heartworm testing—everything he needs to begin his next chapter safe, healthy, and loved. After losing the person he loved, CJ is ready for a fresh start with a family who will cherish his gentle spirit. Whether he`s joining you for a quiet walk or relaxing beside you in the sunshine, CJ is simply looking for a place to call home—and someone to love. Ready to welcome CJ into your family? Email dogadoptions@parmashelter.org and submit an online dog adoption application for CJ today. CJ`s adoption fee is $160.
