Mercy is a 2 1/2 year old female Border Collie. She is very smart and sweet. She has a ton of energy and loves to play fetch and play. We aren't home enough to give her the attention she deserves and I feel terrible about that.

Story
This amazing girl is XENA! Xena has been here at our shelter since 5-21-25 and has not had very much luck with getting adopted. Xena was in a foster home for a little bit but was brought back due to not doing well with cats. After being brought back she has seemed to be kind of depressed and just not her happy self. She absolutely LOVES to play and still has a young soul. This amazing girl would make a GREAT family dog for anyone that is willing to give her as much love as she gives.

Story
Hi! My name is Bell and I got here in January of 2026. I am very affectionate, sweet, and playful. From dogs to people, I haven't encoutered anything I don't like yet! I am young and still have lots of learning to do and energy to burn. I love running around with the other dogs or playing tug of war. I would make a great running buddy, and could probably learn lots of cool things too! I have gone to a few places to visit during my time here, and I did really well greeting people and using my manners. I enterain myself in my kennel, too, hiding my toys under the bed and diving under after them! Sometimes I crawl all the way under and dissapear! My favourite enrichment here is the cardboard boxes with treats inside. I like to get my belly rubbed and sometimes I sit with my head on my waterbowl and daydream about finding a home. I hope you come to see me!

Story
If you're looking for a smart, energetic, and loyal companion, Callie may just be your perfect match! Callie is around 3 years old and 42 lb.  Callie is the type of dog who loves to be surrounded by her people. Whether it's lounging on the couch after a fun play session or keeping a close eye on the backyard (because, you know, squirrels must be chased), she’s content as long as she’s by your side. She’s also a fan of training, especially when there’s a treat involved! She has been working hard at learning to train with a clicker and has already shown us that she’s a smart cookie who catches on quickly. She would love a family who enjoys teaching her new tricks and can continue her training.  Callie is a social butterfly – with just a few boundaries! She gets along well with dogs but is a bit selective and would best in a home where she is an only dog, and is good with cats.  Because she's still young and energetic, we think she'd do best in a home with an active person or older kids who can match her playfulness and help her continue learning her manners.   Callie is a playful, active girl who would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard. She loves running, chewing on a bone and licking up some peanut butter, but most of all, she’d love to be part of your family!     The Details:   House-trained: Yes!  Crate-trained: Absolutely.  Sleep habits: Callie sleeps through the night in her crate like a champ.  Likes: Training, chewing on toys, snuggling, fetching her favorite orange ball, and close cuddles  Dislikes: sharing toys with other doggy friends Callie's adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative. If you are interested in adopting Callie, apply at rescuedohio.org to become an approved adopter and a meet & greet can be set up once approved. ##1796784##
