🐾 Meet Trickie! 🐾Don't let the number fool you—at 6 years old, Trickie still has plenty of Border Collie sparkle left in the tank!Weighing just 34 pounds, this compact, athletic girl is looking for an active family that can keep up with her love of fun, adventure, and most importantly... tennis balls.Tennis balls are Trickie's passion. She would happily spend all day chasing them, carrying them around, and convincing you to throw them just one more time. When she's not focused on her favorite toy, you might find her chasing butterflies, catching snowflakes, or trying to snatch raindrops right out of the air. After spending the last six years in a home, Trickie is still adjusting to life at the shelter and would love nothing more than to get back to being someone's beloved companion. New situations can make her a little timid at first, but beneath that uncertainty is an incredibly sweet girl who loves her people.Like many Border Collies, Trickie thrives when she has both physical exercise and mental stimulation. She would love an active family that enjoys walking, hiking, running, playing fetch, or simply spending time outdoors together. If you've been looking for a canine adventure partner, Trickie is ready to sign up.Trickie likes to be the leader and is looking for a home where she can enjoy life as your one-and-only canine companion. And once the day's adventures are over? This energetic girl transforms into a cuddle bug. She'll happily hop into your lap for belly rubs and later curl up in the corner of your bed for the night. Her favorite treats? Carrots. Her favorite toy? Tennis balls. Her favorite place? Right by your side.If you're looking for a smart, active, loyal companion with a playful spirit and a loving heart, Trickie may be the perfect match for you.❤️ Apply today at [www.caninecollective.org](http://www.caninecollective.org) to meet Trickie!

Story
Hey there, I'm Van. I am a 55 pound border collie lab mix, and about a year and a half old. I'm a pretty big guy and still have lots of puppy energy, but I am calming down a bit! I am very sweet and great with everyone. I love kids but because I am big and energetic, I probably shouldn't live with small children. I also love to learn so I would be a great dog for someone wanting to do agility, sports or even running with me. Hurry up and apply for me. I look forward to meeting you! Every PAWS dog is loved, vetted, and ready for a fresh start March 8, 2026, 11:18 pm

Story
🐾 Meet Imogen – A Quiet Soul Ready to Bloom 🌸💕Some dogs have lived a life full of adventures. Others, like Imogen, are just beginning theirs. 💖Imogen is one of the sweet dogs rescued from our recent hoarding case, and while the world is still a big, unfamiliar place, she's making incredible progress every single day. The scared little girl who once kept her distance now happily seeks out affection, wags her tail when you approach, and will gladly curl up in your lap for cuddles. She absolutely ADORES snuggles, pets, and treats—especially the cheesy and meaty kind! 🧀🥩💕 Staff have consistently shared how much she's blossomed during her time with us.Imogen is a mixed breed dog of many types of breeds, we imagine, we have her listed as possibly having border collie and austrailian shepherd as part of those breeds, but we really don't know. Imogen will need a patient family that understands she's still building confidence. She's learning that walks can be fun (her leash skills are improving every day! 🦮), new experiences aren't so scary, and people can be trusted. Watching her come out of her shell has been one of the most rewarding transformations we've seen. 🌼She has tested well with other dogs and is used to living with canine companions. Smaller or calm dogs would likely be the best match, as larger dogs can still be a little intimidating for her. 🐶 We haven't seen her around children yet, so if you have kids, we'd love for you to bring them along to meet her!✨ Adoption Fee: $70🎂 Age: Around 2 years old🚺 Sex: Female⚖️ Weight: 32 lbs🐕 Breed: Mixed BreedImogen will be ready to head home with her forever family starting Monday, July 6. Before adoption, Imogen will be:💉 Spayed💉 Vaccinated🩺 Heartworm & Lyme tested (negative!)🦟 Flea & tick treated❤️ On heartworm prevention📍 MicrochippedIf you're looking for a dog who will reward your patience with unwavering love and the sweetest cuddles, Imogen just might be your perfect match. 🥹🐾💕We're open Monday through Friday 12-5 pm and Saturday 11-3 pm. We're located at 9331 State Route 124 Hillsboro, OH. Our adoption is open and easy, please come to the shelter to meet the animals in person to adopt.
