Story
This sweet litter came to us from a rural shelter in Mississippi. They are all so sweet and well-socialized and would make a great addition to any family. They appear to be terrier/border collie mixes, and are the happiest puppies you will find! They are crate trained and don’t make a peep all night. They have also mastered the doggy door in their foster home. A few key notes about our Rescue… 1. All of our pets start their journey in Memphis Tennessee. 2. No monies exchange hands until the pet has arrived 3. Once adopted, our pets can be transported to Denver, Colorado, the Midwest and all of the north eastern states. 4. We have a Facebook page and an Instagram page. You are welcome to visit to see some of our newly adoptive families. 5. We have been rescuing and transporting pets for 15 years. Transport is an additional $185

Story
Bexley is a wonderful dog who is house trained, LOVES people, loves other dogs and doesn't mind cats. We have 2 young kids and she is very jealous that she does not get as much attention. For that reason, she would do best in a home where she can be your little baby, although she does not mind sharing the spotlight with other animals. She is gorgeous and low maintenance, she just likes to sleep, play and go on shorter walks with her people.

Dog's Name: KittyGender: Female Current Age: 1 yearCurrent Age Range: Young Adult (6 months to 1 year) Current Weight: 36 lbsExpected Adult Size: Medium (25-50 lbs) Breed: Border Collie mix Energy Level: Medium Dog Friendly: Yes, and can have other dogs in the home or can be an only dog. Cat Friendly: Yes Kids: Yes, any age Apartment Friendly: Yes Fence Requirements: Physical fence not required Crate Trained: Yes Potty Trained: Yes Ideal Home / Adopter: Kitty has all the best loyalty qualities of a working dog without the intense drive to constantly work! She has proven that she much prefers being a beloved companion over having a full-time job. Kitty absolutely loves playing with other dogs, but she is also happy entertaining herself with a toy or bone when friends are not around. She is easy to train without needing endless mental stimulation and has a wonderful balance of independence and affection. Outside, Kitty enjoys exploring the yard but checks in often to make sure her people are nearby. She is also an expert garden helper. She will not dig holes, but she does enjoy tossing around pre-dug clumps of dirt like toys! Kitty is gentle, sweet, and gets along beautifully with everyone she meets, including toddlers, cats, chickens, pigs, and other dogs. Even though she is still young, she is already fully crate trained, sleeps quietly in her crate, and is potty trained. Like any young dog, she occasionally has playful puppy moments, such as sneaking off with a napkin or checking the counters for snacks. Likes: Being around people, dogs, stuffed toys, animals of all kinds, and big soft beds! Dislikes: Loud noises like dropping a big pot on the floor. Kitty had a rough start to her little life before coming to Rescued Ohio, but she has remained a happy-go-lucky girl who simply wants to be someone’s loyal sidekick. She would make an amazing family dog for a home with kids, other animals, or both! All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative. If you are interested in adopting, apply at rescuedohio.org to become an approved adopter and a meet & greet can be set up once approved. ##2727939##

Story
Meet Costata! This adorable little lady is ready to find her fresh start with a furever family. Costata is spunky, playful, and simply adorable! She appears to be potty trained and knows some basic skills including "sit", "shake", and "drop it". She is very food motivated, and will do anything for a tennis ball! Costata is still a little nervous with strangers, especially men, so she is looking for a family that will give her time to warm up. She would do best in a home without men. Once she is comfortable with you Costata is simply perfect, and will follow you everywhere! She has done well with other dogs and cats. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Costata home. Story
Meet Stewie! Stewie came to us after being surrendered to our veterinary partner. He is a happy, outgoing guy ready for a fresh start! As with any young puppy, and especially a young Cattle Dog type mix, Stewie's new home should be prepared to invest time into training, socialization, and an outlet for his energy. He is a spunky guy always ready for the next adventure! Stewie previously lived with another puppy and does well with other dogs and cats. Stewie knows a few basic skills like "sit", and loves to work for treats or toys which makes training very easy! If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Stewie home. If you are interested in meeting Stewie, please submit an adoption form on our website: fairfieldcountydogs.com and we will contact you to arrange a time to visit.
