Astro was rescued from a busy street in Norman, OK and has been a beloved part of our family for the past year and a half. Now 2 years old, he’s grown into a sweet, intelligent, and energetic companion who thrives with room to run and play. Astro has lived harmoniously with my two kids, a cat, and two dogs. He gets along well with other animals and children, though he may need a little time to warm up to unfamiliar dogs. Because I’m moving to a place without the space he needs, I’m looking for a loving home where he’ll have the freedom to stretch his legs and enjoy life to the fullest. Please note: Astro has a high prey drive and should not be placed in a home with chickens or small rodents. If you’re looking for a loyal and lively companion, Astro could be the perfect addition to your family!

This is a courtesy post for an individual this is what she wrote please reach out to Stacy for additional informed Now this is my new plea I have a dog I saved from euthanasia. She was a street stray. I planned on keeping her. I can’t. She is great with cats, children and dogs 30 pounds and up. Just NO small dogs. Honestly Izzy is a great dog, just not with little dogs. It’s weird that she is good with cats. Anyways, she has got to go asap. If you know of anyone please have them contact me. She is spayed, utd on shots, microchipped and on heartworm prevention. He’s a kind-hearted, high-energy boy with that classic Heeler intelligence and drive. Shelter life has been tough on Eugene. He circles and barks in his kennel — not because he’s a “bad” dog, but because he’s a working breed with energy to burn and a busy mind that needs direction. Dogs like Eugene thrive with structure, exercise, and a purpose. He will need continued training, especially around other dogs, and would do best with an experienced, active owner who understands the breed and is committed to helping him succeed.
