This breaks my heart to post but because of health and finances I have to. I am looking for a good home for my fur baby. He is a border collie chihuahua mix. As mouthy (barks at everyone and everything) he is a sweetheart and smart I'm sure with proper training he could do almost anything. He would come with whatever food we have left and his leash (it's on its last legs) and metal crate. He is originally from a home where he was abused so he is shy or skittish especially with objects being lifted for example if you lift a back scratcher and he sees it he will run into his crate(which he knows as a cage thanks to previous owners) with his head and tail have had him for about 3 years and in this time we believe he may have separation anxiety. He has been around a young child and aside from wanting to cover them in kisses he didn't go at them. You would have to come see him and pick up from his home here. He is still intact. He is a lover he enjoys a good cuddle.

This is a courtesy post for an individual this is what she wrote please reach out to Stacy for additional informed Now this is my new plea I have a dog I saved from euthanasia. She was a street stray. I planned on keeping her. I can’t. She is great with cats, children and dogs 30 pounds and up. Just NO small dogs. Honestly Izzy is a great dog, just not with little dogs. It’s weird that she is good with cats. Anyways, she has got to go asap. If you know of anyone please have them contact me. She is spayed, utd on shots, microchipped and on heartworm prevention. C.J. is a joyful, charming senior girl with a big personality. She’s always happy, always excited to see you, and carries a little extra sass that makes her endearing. She LOVES her 9 p.m. bedtime routine and will let you know when it’s time for bed. She’s deeply attached to her people and would happily follow her person around all day. She’s affectionate, sweet, and has that classic older-dog calm mixed with heeler intelligence and spunk. She is house-trained and well-mannered indoors, excellent on leash, an easy, steady walker. She enjoys a daily afternoon stroll and then is content to relax. She gets along with some dogs, but has a bit of bossy, in charge energy, so she does best with calm, respectful dogs. C.J. would absolutely shine as a companion dog for an older couple, empty nesters, or someone home often. C.J. has that rare mix of sweetness, personality, and maturity. She’s loyal, easy, joyful, and wonderful in her own sassy way.

Dallas went on a daycation and here is what they had to say about his time outside of the shelter. Cyrus went to a fund raiser for the shelter and got to hang out with a bunch of people. He was sweet, calm and loving. He was well behaved with other people, did very well in a crowded area, nervous but loving! He was well mannered, entertained himself, enjoyed cuddles, leash trained, and played with toys.
