Sometimes it seems like she understands every word you say. Does she always do what you ask? Not quite! She’s still a typical puppy who is learning, growing, and figuring out the world around her. But she is an absolute joy to have around. Willow gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. She holds her own with both the big and little dogs in her foster home and loves to play rough with her furry friends. When she’s not wrestling with the other dogs, she is perfectly content playing with chew toys, chasing a ball, or chewing on an old non-stuffed toy. She is crate trained with encouragement and eats her meals in her crate. She sleeps through the night, too! If she happens to bark early in the morning, it usually means she needs to go potty. She is still learning that potty time means going outside, so her house-training is a work in progress. Like any fun-loving puppy, Willow gets the zoomies from time to time! And when you correct her, she may just “sass” right back with the cutest little bark. You’ll have to turn your head so she doesn’t see you laughing! Willow already knows sit and down, and she has a very special talent: she will do the splits for a treat while in her crate! She is playful, funny, affectionate, and full of personality. Willow is going to make someone a wonderful companion. She’s still a puppy and will need someone who is patient and willing to continue her training, but in return, you’ll get a sweet, smart, silly little girl who will keep you smiling every day. Despite spending most of her young life in foster, this sweet girl is still searching for the loving family she deserves. Like many people, public places can be overwhelming for Rayla. She doesn’t always show her true personality at adoption events and may be shy, especially around men. But once she’s back in the comfort of her home and feels safe, she transforms into a happy, affectionate, and playful companion. Rayla has a joyful spirit that’s impossible not to love. Her full-body wiggles, wagging tail, and enthusiastic requests for belly rubs are her favorite ways of showing just how much she loves her people. She has a fun, upbeat personality that shines once she trusts you, and her adoring gaze says it all. Rayla has an old leg injury that likely occurred when she was a puppy. It healed in an abnormal position, and vets determined that correcting it would require a major surgery or amputation—neither of which is recommended since she isn’t in pain and has adapted remarkably well. This handsome 4.5 month old puppster is called Boy George and he is what you would call….a character. A Border Collie mix puppy who is smart and mischievous and a leader in life. He was born in a litter of 8 puppies around the middle of October and he was the biggest kid in the bunch. He is laidback yet very much an involved pup when it comes to creating dog events that are fun and inquisitive. He is one that doesn’t back down because he knows that he can win the challenge with his tenacity. Boy George has conquered all the obligations in his life to learn about housebreaking, crate time and how to walk on a leash with at least a B- rating. Practice will make perfect when in a family that has more one on one time for him. He is going to be a 55 pound boy once he is grown. His Mom is Blue Eyed Kaye and she is a wonderful girl with a happy demeanor and has certainly passed it along to all her sweet offspring. Boy George is a good pup but he is looking for an even smarter owner that will figure him out before he slips one in on you. He is loving and can be an attention grabber because when you are raised in a pack of 8 siblings, you kind of crave some private time for yourself. Boy George will be a fun pup to raise and one that will excel at puppy training classes. At 18 weeks of age and 32 pounds, he is a great size to take on car rides, walks on a trail or your local neighborhood. He will welcome new dogs and people to meet and did we mention that he LOVES CATS! To our Boy George they are just another friend in life! We will require a home with a securely fenced yard so that this boy can explore and hang out in the great outdoors/backyard. He is not a digger and he is not a fence climber. But he is a dog that requires the stimulation both physically and mentally every day. Teach him things and he will make you a proud dog owner. Someone is looking for a dog like this. Maybe an only dog in the home or just a great addition because he will be play buddies with anyone. But always know that you must be the leader of your pack and Boy George. He craves the boundaries and rules. He thrives best not having his way and is so moldable.
