Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Felicia & sister Rayla were saved from a high kill shelter as puppies on NOVEMBER 9, 2024 and have been in foster ever since. There has been zero interest in these wonderful girls, who now have been in foster the majority of their young lives. When Felicia first came to us, she was scared of people but has come out of her shell so much thanks to her patient and persistent foster. Now she is curious, friendly, confident and does very well at Petco adoption events! She & Rayla are a joy to watch zooming around the yard, being goofy and wearing each other out. Inside they play together until tired, then will curl up and take a nap. Rayla and Felicia are looking for their forever home! They have been together in foster for so long at this point, we really think they would be best going to a home together, they seem happily bonded. If you have space for 2.. they will bring the entertainment and cuddles! Some pictures make them look large but both are small/medium size adult dogs 30-35 lbs., crate trained, house trained and spayed.  Link to her sister Rayla's page: https://lastchancepetrescueinc.rescuegroups.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=21068147   Please contact us with any questions! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Rayla & sister Felicia were saved from a high kill shelter as puppies on NOVEMBER 9, 2024 and have been in foster ever since. There has been zero interest in these wonderful girls, who now have been in foster the majority of their young lives. Like a lot of us.. public places are stressful and anxiety-inducing for Rayla. She doesn't show well (or at all if she's hiding under a chair) at adoption events and she can be timid and fearful with men. However, once she's back in her comfort zone her real personality comes out and she is a completely different dog. If you had a chandelier and she could reach it.. she'd be swinging from it!  Ok, that's an exaggeration, but she does make sure to show you how much she appreciates you by full body wags, and presenting you with her belly to rub, you're welcome. She's one of those dogs that just has a happy & upbeat vibe with a full body wiggle. See that adoring look.. that's all for you.  <3 Aside from public events, not much seems to dull this girl's spark. Rayla has an old injury that according to the vets likely happened when she was a puppy. Unfortunately it has healed in the wrong position and in order to 'fix' it, she would have to have an invasive surgery or full amputation that could be more traumatic than necessary. While it looks a little awkward, she doesn't seem to be in any pain. She still uses the leg for stabilization when running and playing with her sister, but doesn't rely on it. Rayla and Felicia are looking for their forever home! They have been together in foster for so long and they play so well together, we really think they would be best going to a home together.  they seem to be happily bonded. Story
This handsome 4.5 month old puppster is called Boy George and he is what you would call….a character.  A Border Collie mix puppy who is smart and mischievous and a leader in life.  He was born in a litter of 8 puppies around the middle of October and he was the biggest kid in the bunch. He is laidback yet very much an involved pup when it comes to creating dog events that are fun and inquisitive.  He is one that doesn’t back down because he knows that he can win the challenge with his tenacity.  Boy George has conquered all the obligations in his life to learn about housebreaking, crate time and how to walk on a leash with at least a B- rating.  Practice will make perfect when in a family that has more one on one time for him.  He is going to be a 55 pound boy once he is grown.  His Mom is Blue Eyed Kaye and she is a wonderful girl with a happy demeanor and has certainly passed it along to all her sweet offspring.  Boy George is a good pup but he is looking for an even smarter owner that will figure him out before he slips one in on you. He is loving and can be an attention grabber because when you are raised in a pack of 8 siblings, you kind of crave some private time for yourself.  Boy George will be a fun pup to raise and one that will excel at puppy training classes.  At 18 weeks of age and 32 pounds, he is a great size to take on car rides, walks on a trail or  your local neighborhood.  He will welcome new dogs and people to meet and did we mention that he LOVES CATS!   To our Boy George they are just another friend in life!   We will require a home with a securely fenced yard so that this boy can explore and hang out in the great outdoors/backyard.  He is not a digger and he is not a fence climber.  But he is a dog that requires the stimulation both physically and mentally every day.  Teach him things and he will make you a proud dog owner. Someone is looking for a dog like this.  Maybe an only dog in the home or just a great addition because he will be play buddies with anyone.  But always know that you must be the leader of your pack and Boy George.  He craves the boundaries and rules.  He thrives best not having his way and is so moldable.  If interested please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Mention where you live, city and state.  Transport is available to the northeast outside of Tennessee where he is being fostered PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption. Story
We are delighted to say that during this beautiful season of renewal and friendship and family bonding, we have 8 precious little Border Collie/Aussie mix puppies that are looking for a fresh and forever start to their life. Born about the middle of October to a beautiful Aussie mix mom, these babies were fortunately taken in by a senior couple who nurtured them for 7 weeks.  Now these precious beauties are in individual foster homes and learning so much as they grow.  5 boys and 3 girls.  They are handled and cuddled so much!  No fear issues have touched their spirit!   Mom is a 45 pound white and black beauty and we expect each of these smart pups to be in the 45-50 pound range as an adult.  If you were interested in adopting, please right to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Every litter seems to have that one puppy who steals the spotlight. The one who walks into the room like he already knows he’s special. In this trio of brothers, that boy is Snoopy Dog. In fact, the foster dad caring for these puppies doesn’t even try to hide it—he says Snoopy Dog is his favorite. And once you meet him, it’s easy to see why. Snoopy Dog is a strikingly handsome puppy with the cutest nose freckles you’ve ever seen and a perfect black-spotted mask over both eyes. His body is almost entirely snowy white with just a few round spots scattered here and there, giving him a unique look that turns heads wherever he goes. And while we were told the puppies’ mom was a Border Collie, Snoopy’s soft Lab-like ears have decided they are staying exactly where they are—flopped down and adorable, never standing up like a traditional Border Collie’s. Looks aside, this boy has the personality to match. Snoopy Dog is the brains of the brother trio. His foster family quickly noticed that he is the sharpest thinker of the bunch, always the first to figure things out and the first to try something new. He’s curious, funny, confident, and clearly aware that he’s both smart and handsome.   Snoopy Dog came into the care of Critter Cavalry Rescue along with his two brothers after a Facebook post surfaced about a rural Tennessee family that was simply “giving away” the puppies. Situations like that can be risky, and we knew these boys deserved a safer path to their future. CCR stepped in to make sure they would be raised in loving foster homes where they could receive proper veterinary care, guidance, and lots of attention. Since arriving in rescue, Snoopy Dog has received everything he needs to start life off right—neutering, worming treatments, his puppy vaccinations including parvo and distemper, rabies vaccine, microchip, and a clean bill of health. He’s also been busy learning how to be a wonderful house dog. Snoopy Dog already uses the doggie door and is fully housebroken, which is impressive for such a young puppy. At just about 10 weeks old, he already weighs around 15 pounds, and we expect he will grow into a handsome 50-pound adult. This boy is playful, energetic, and ready to explore the world. He enjoys playing with his brothers, meeting people, and discovering new things. He is currently living with a cat and has shown wonderful manners, learning to respect the cat’s space and understanding that sometimes the cat simply isn’t interested in puppy games.   Soon it will be time for Snoopy Dog to leave the nest. Around March 27th he will be ready to say goodbye to his brothers and begin a brand-new chapter with a loving, active family. A fenced yard would be ideal for this curious and playful boy, along with a family ready to continue teaching him routines, manners, and all the adventures that come with being part of a family. Snoopy Dog is smart, charming, and full of personality. He’s ready to bring laughter, fun, and plenty of love into the home lucky enough to adopt him.   If you’re interested in welcoming Snoopy Dog into your family, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. He could be riding the transport van the last weekend of March and heading straight toward his forever home—maybe with you.    ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
