Meet Zelly! Zelly really has quite the story. He came to Hound Dog Holler from Memphis Animal Services and needed help quick. He had skull fractures from being beaten with a shovel. Although this was a sad part of Zelly's life, everything is looking up for him now! He's been at the farm since early May and is enjoying life. Trusting people has taken some time, but he's getting better at it. He does well with other dogs too once he gets to know them. Zelly was born for the farm life. He wants to work with you, hop in the truck, and help you with your chores. He does well around livestock too. Clyde has a fresh cut, so he's ready for all the fun of warmer weather. His new cut makes him look so much like a little fox now, and he kinda has the personality of a fox, too! He's playful, as mentioned, and he loves a romp with friends. In doggie playgroup, he wears himself out chasing and being chased. He's just about the right size to be a fox - although some think it looks like a floofy skunk's tail has been attached to his back end! Meet Murphy, our adorable little Border Collie Mix boy puppy who was rescued from a small town shelter where he was under weight and riddled with internal parasites.  His future was very bleak but now Murphy has been treated and is a healthy, happy little guy free of parasites and gaining weight like a puppy should.  Born around November 1st, he is approximately 10 weeks old (as of Jan 5th) and weighs 12 pounds.  He is expected to reach around 40 pounds as an adult.  He is friendly with all humans (toddlers included), dogs and cats that he has been in contact with.  Murphy is curious, playful and very loveable and is quite the talker.  Murphy seems to be the most curious of his siblings.  His foster mom believes he is mixed with many different breeds that are smart and inquisitive.  If you are interested please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 23, 2024, 4:30 pm

Story
Sulley was born around October of 2020. He is a border collie from Guatemala, Mexico. We used to live in Southern California and our neighbors at the time brought him and his brother into their home. We helped to care for him and eventually they found another home for his brother and we took him into our home. He is an extremely smart, energetic, and loyal dog. He needs a home where he will be able to run and exercise. Previous experience with this breed would be recommended. Sully can be aggressive with new people coming into our home. While he has never bit anyone, he has definitely scared some people and we have very young children so this is not an ideal situation and can cause a great deal of stress for all of us.

Ollie is a beautiful, black bi Border Collie registered with the ABCA. He enjoys herding activities and herding games. Has experience with poultry. Will excel with cattle. His bloodlines come from strong working lines. Ollie is on the calm side for a Border Collie and is very loving to his family. He is easy to train and VERY eager to please and HIGHLY intelligent (learns in less than 3 repetitions). Loves children and other dogs and meeting new people. He has been socialized ALOT. Outside, he is up for any activity - loves his herding balls. Full Panel Genetic tested through PawPrints Genetics and Embark with no health issues. Ollie is neutered and being sold as pet-only. Ollie turned out to be too large to breed with our Dam so we are rehoming him. Based on his current weight at 7 months (apx 40 pounds) he should be around 50 pounds or so full grown.
