Story
Have you met Henry? No? Well let us tell you all about this very smart chap. He just seems like a chap - a very decent chap! Here are the basics: he 1.5 years old and about 32 lbs. He's on the smaller side but boy let us tell you he is totally packed with energy. We call him a ball of energy and he is incredibly smart. He loves exploring new places and learning new things both of which cater to his high intelligence and physical needs. We think he could be a Border Jack (Border Collie/Jack Russell). This mix is known to be Bold, Athletic, Intelligent, Independent, and Determined. That pretty much describes our Henry. He is super cute but just not meant to be in a chill, laid back home. He would thrive with a busy family that wants to include him in all their adventures. Agility and trick training would be something he would love. These hybrids are known to be super loyal and bond closely with their people. This mix of breeds can be amazing partners to farmers with a herd to tend as they combine the herding ability and high intelligence of the Border Collie with the bold attitude of the Jack Russell. An ideal situation for Henry would be as a faithful sidekick working alongside his family/person outside and then inside to relax after a hard day working. We absolutely adore this little boy with the big, big personality but shelter living is not enough for such a smart and active little guy. If you need a companion and help mate or you are a busy family with older children that would like an active dog then Henry is for you! He has been successfully matched with other dogs in playgroup so we think he would do fine with another dog in the house. A meet and greet would be required to make sure the energy levels matched. Come meet this phenomenal little powerhouse dog.Adopt from MCASAll of our dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (and treated if positive), microchipped, and current on all vaccinations. We are open 7 days a week 12pm to 5pm for adoptions, no appointment necessary!Adoption Center: 931-375-1402If you would like more information about this dog, please contact our volunteer coordinator, Kim, at kraffauf@gmail.com

We got Daisy when she was a puppy. She will be 7 years old in May. Daisy is high energy and loyal. We love her very much, and she is devoted to her people. We would like her to have a home with a loving family, preferably without another dog, where she has room to run.

Story
Ollie is a beautiful, black bi Border Collie registered with the ABCA. He enjoys herding activities and herding games. Has experience with poultry. Will excel with cattle. His bloodlines come from strong working lines. Ollie is on the calm side for a Border Collie and is very loving to his family. He is easy to train and VERY eager to please and HIGHLY intelligent (learns in less than 3 repetitions). Loves children and other dogs and meeting new people. He has been socialized ALOT. Outside, he is up for any activity - loves his herding balls. Full Panel Genetic tested through PawPrints Genetics and Embark with no health issues. Ollie is neutered and being sold as pet-only. Ollie turned out to be too large to breed with our Dam so we are rehoming him. Based on his current weight at 7 months (apx 40 pounds) he should be around 50 pounds or so full grown.

Story
Friendly Finn is a lucky dog.  You know one of those who was in a really bad shelter that was run by lazy people who didn’t care if any of the dogs got out alive.  He is a handsome and very friendly Border Collie/Pointer mix that is truly a good looking dog who is about 3 years old, fully vetted, 35 pounds and was at the shelter for 2 years.  TRUTH!   How awful that this beautiful soul was there in that dirty place and in the tiny kennel run with another dog. He wasn’t fed much and he is lucky to have survived the torture of that specific shelter.   Friendly is a good word for Finn since he is good with other dogs and kids unknown.  He is surprisingly very good on a leash, but his nerves can get the best of him when riding in a car.  He might need a little medication till he gets used to riding.  Finn needs a big yard or maybe daily trips to a dog park.  We want him to live a life that is not limited as he has experienced these past 2+ years in the shelter.  If you are interested in Fostering or Adopting Finn please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 5, 2024, 3:15 pm
