They love to play with toys, they're good on a leash, and they're extremely friendly and social! Which pups are these, you might wonder! Mika, Ren, Karate, Hinata, and Hikaru, of course! This litter is a delightful group of Border Collie/Hound mixes. Four months old right now, they weigh about 23 pounds and will each mature to between 40 and 45 pounds. Maybe the best part of having these babies around is that they're wonderful to watch as they tumble around the play yard together or with their other canine friends. That's what puppies are all about, isn't it? (posted 4/19/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **May 4, 2025, 3:21 pm

Story
**🐾 Meet Walter! 🐾** **Breed:** Border Collie Mix **Status:** Looking for his forever family to share adventures and snacks! **Background:** Introducing Walter, the charming Border Collie Mix with a heart-shaped marking on his head that makes him look like he’s always ready for a romantic comedy! At around 2 years old and weighing in at 50-55 lbs, Walter was found roaming the streets of Memphis, likely pondering the meaning of life—or just sniffing for the best food truck. This clever pup is fully vetted and has mastered the art of potty training, though he might still be working on his PhD in “sniffology.” **Personality:** While he may be a bit timid at first, once he warms up to you, prepare for a love fest! Walter LOVES toys and will happily entertain himself with a squeaky ball or a tug toy. He adores belly rubs and will roll over with enthusiasm, ready to soak up all the affection you have to give! Walter is a fetch aficionado, chasing balls like they hold the secrets of the universe. He walks like a pro on a leash but occasionally stops to catch up on the neighborhood gossip—because who wouldn’t want to know what the squirrels are up to? With a gentle demeanor and a knack for cuddling, Walter is ready to steal your heart and your snacks! **Ideal Home:** Walter would thrive in a loving environment where he can continue to play and grow, ideally with a family who enjoys outdoor activities, treats, and plenty of toys! Once adopted, Walter will transport with Rescue Vet Transport to her new forever family ( Transport is an additional $185). If you would like to make her a part of your family please follow the link below to our adoption application. Please note, our volunteer team works very hard and they are very responsive so please submit your application only when you are ready to welcome your new furry friend. https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BCAR/Dog

At around 2 years old and weighing 50-55 lbs, Thomas was found wandering the streets of Memphis, probably on a quest for the ultimate belly rub. **Personality:** This charming goofball has a talent for making friends wherever he goes, and he’s not afraid to show it with a little happy dance for treats! Already potty trained and a leash-walking superstar, Thomas is your perfect sidekick, whether you’re off on a grand adventure or simply lounging on the couch binge-watching your favorite show. With his calm and brave personality, he’ll be your loyal companion in all things—especially if there are snacks involved! **Ideal Home:** Thomas would flourish in a nurturing environment where he can share his life and continue to grow, ideally with a family that appreciates his affectionate nature and has plenty of treats to spare!
