Story
Jazzy is the kind of dog who brings energy and happiness into your life—without overwhelming it. She’s playful, friendly, and fun, but also has an independent side that makes her easy to live with. Her past isn’t pretty—but you’d never know it. Jazzy is social and confident, great with dogs of all sizes and cats, and naturally fits into whatever environment she’s in. She’ll happily join in on playtime, go on walks, or even randomly take a dip in the pond—then settle down like it’s no big deal. She’s affectionate without being clingy and has that ideal balance people are always looking for but rarely find. Good fit: someone who wants a fun, social dog that adds energy and joy to daily life without being overwhelming or demanding. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Fully vetted (spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested) Adoption fee: $500 (includes transport + vetting) Bonus: Each adoption includes a 30-minute phone consultation with a professional trainer Transport routes: WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, OH, PA, MD, NY, NJ, VT Think you might be a good fit? Story
Alder is basically the dog version of an introvert. Quiet, gentle, low-key, and completely content doing his own thing, Alder is one of the easiest and lowest-maintenance dogs I have ever had in the rescue out of hundreds of dogs. He is around a year old and was originally labeled as a pit bull mix at the shelter when he was younger and still looked like a generic puppy. But now that he is older, it is very obvious that he is not a pittie and instead looks much more like a Border Collie mix. Alder is wonderful with other dogs of all sizes and also great with cats. He peacefully coexists with everyone but honestly doesn’t care much about joining the chaos or playing constantly. He prefers to quietly exist nearby and observe the world at his own pace. He is shy and hesitant with new people at first, but there is not an ounce of aggression in him. He is simply a soft, sensitive dog who takes a little time to feel comfortable. Once he settles in, Alder is incredibly easy to live with. He is not demanding, not hyper, not loud, and not needy. He is the type of dog who quietly becomes part of your daily life without bringing chaos into it. Good fit: someone looking for a calm, quiet, low-maintenance companion who does not need constant stimulation or activity to be happy. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Story
Some dogs bring chaos everywhere they go. This girl brings calm. At around 50 lbs, she has the look of a rugged little farm dog mix with a naturally steady personality to match. While other dogs are bouncing around causing chaos, she’s usually the one quietly observing everything with her calm, thoughtful expression. She’s affectionate without being clingy, social without being overwhelming, and has an easygoing energy that makes her relaxing to be around. Her coat gets thick in the winter with a dark brown undercoat and sheds out lighter in the summer, giving her that soft, weatherproof “country dog” look. She does great with other dogs and fits naturally into group environments without drama. She’s the type that settles in instead of constantly demanding stimulation or attention. There’s something very grounded about her personality. Good fit: someone looking for a calm, emotionally steady companion that’s easy to live with and enjoys connection without constant intensity. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Story
Hello, new friends! My name is Periwinkle, and I`m a charming little puppy with a big imagination and an even bigger heart. At just 2 months and 2 days old, I`m ready to leave paw prints on the hearts of my future family. Life is one big adventure when you`re a puppy, and I`m determined to experience every bit of it! I love investigating new toys, bouncing around with puppy enthusiasm, and discovering all the exciting things the world has to offer. Whether it`s a leaf blowing across the yard or a squeaky toy hidden in a basket, I can always find something fun to do. I`m a sweet and loving girl who enjoys being around people, and once I`ve finished my puppy explorations, I`m more than happy to curl up nearby and enjoy some quiet time with my favorite humans. If I sound like a good fit for your home, then come on down to the shelter and let`s meet!Medical Information: Periwinkle appears to be a healthy puppy. Her new family should schedule a veterinary appointment soon after adoption to establish care and support her continued growth and well-being.Weight: ~8.8 lbsAdoption Fee: $475 + tax

Story
Meet Cooper, a 10-year-old dog with a lot of love still left to give. We got Cooper from a farm in Wisconsin as a puppy, after one of their dogs had an accidental litter, and he’s been part of our family ever since. These days, our home has gotten busy and loud with three young kids, and Cooper has grown anxious in all the chaos — he’s not really cut out for noisy, unpredictable environments anymore. What he needs now is a quiet, calm home of his own, ideally without other pets or young children, where he can get the consistent routine and undivided attention he deserves. He still has plenty of energy for his age and loves a good walk, and while he’s affectionate and loyal, his cuddles come on his own terms. Cooper would do best with a patient adult or couple who can offer him a peaceful space to settle into and the steady companionship he’s looking for in his golden years.
