Kip is a Border Collie mix puppy and a member of our Heated Rivalry group. He came to us from Ozarks Pet Rescue after originally being found as a stray with his mom, Sheba, by Poplar Bluff Animal Control. Sheba had some pretty severe medical issues from raising her puppies, but she is now happy, healthy, and this little family is ready to find the loving homes they deserve. Kip is a typical playful, curious puppy who is always ready to explore and learn. He has more of the traditional Border Collie coloring, even though his coat remains short, giving him that classic look in a compact, easy-care package. He will do best in a family committed to continuing his basic training and socialization so he can grow into a confident, well-mannered adult dog. Kip is currently working on crate training and learning his basic manners, and he’s doing great for his age. Kip is available to a foster-to-adopt home within 30 minutes of Madison while he completes his medical care. This is a wonderful opportunity to help him transition into home life while he finishes vetting. If you’re looking for a smart, adorable puppy with classic Border Collie charm, Kip might be your perfect match. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. She recently raised a litter of puppies and has done an incredible job as a mama—now it’s her turn to be pampered and loved. Sheba has a calm and gentle demeanor, paired with an affectionate nature that makes her a joy to be around. True to her breed, she’s smart and attentive, and she especially enjoys spending time outside where she can relax and explore. Sheba is looking for a forever home where she can enjoy peaceful companionship, outdoor time, and the love she so deeply deserves. Randomly goes for a swim in the pond. Affectionate but also independent. Currently about 30 lbs. Someone will be very lucky to bring her into their family. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Story
Winnie is a simple and easy puppy to love and care for. This sweet girl will melt your heart with her amazing personality and simple love. Her young life started out rough and was found in a dump, but this did not break her. She is independent, smart, and loves to cuddle with you when it's nap time. Winnie has crazy ear days- you never know if both ears are going to be up or down or just one up or down, either way she is always cute. Winnie is very treat motivated, which has worked well for training, but takes a bit of patience as she has none when it comes to getting those treats. She gets along with other dogs and has no problems with cats. She is crate trained and housebroken in her foster home (when she gets to her forever home it may possibly take some time again). Winnie’s favorite things- bones, toys, finding rocks, and running and playing with her sister, Stevie. Winnie is love and happiness and just perfect! These sisters (Winnie and Stevie) have really bonded through their experiences and time spent together. It would be great to adopt them together, but willing to split for the right homes.

Story
Stevie is the sweet girl with a bit of sass. She will steal your heart right along with your socks. Stevie was found at a dump having to fend for herself which has made her a bit protective of her food and bones. Stevie will need to go to a home that will understand and respect this about her. This is a very workable non-issue as long as you handle it appropriately. She is in a foster home with her sister and 3 other dogs with no issue. Stevie is very treat motivated (she takes treat very nicely) and trains easily. She is gentle and well mannered. She is crate trained and housebroken in her foster home (when she gets to her forever home it may possibly take some time again). Stevie’s favorite things- bones, cuddles, she loves to have quick cuddles, running and playing with her sister, Winnie. Stevie absolutely loves her older foster dog siblings and would love to have another dog in her forever home. Stevie would do best in a house with children 12 years and older. These sisters have really bonded through their experiences and time spent together. It would be great to adopt them together, but willing to split for the right homes.
