BEST DOG EVER! LOVES PEOPLE AND OTHER DOGS! Missing out on an excellent family pet. Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com I need a family with an owned house with yard and a friendly dog friend I can play with. Bonnie is a female 1 yr old 41 lb Border Collie. She loves other dogs and people. She is an energetic, very affectionate and smart gal that likes playing with her foster dogs and toys. She likes to swim too. She is crate trained. She is a great companion for an active/outdoorsy family with a securely fenced yard. She is an indoor dog that will enjoy daily walks/hikes and some dog training. No apartments! No cats please. Border Collie experience highly recommended. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 500,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.

Story
Meet Tabitha! This adorable little girl has been in Wisconsin now for nearly a year :( We've learned so much about her during this time we just know the perfect home is out there for her! She prefers the company of women, and love to hang out with other dogs. Shes quite the snuggler in bed if you let her sleep with you, or she's totally fine hanging out with other dogs to snooze. She enjoys her time outdoors and does best in a home with a fenced yard. She currently is in a foster home on a farm and enjoys all things farm related! Tabitha will do best in a home with herding breed experience! She might need more than one meeting to warm up to you, but once she does, you are her friend for life! Please help us find the perfect home for Tabitha! She's one of a kind! **Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states. Adoption fee is $350 unless otherwise noted above. Puppies under 1 year of age accept application for families with children over 6 years of age for large breeds and over 8 years of age for small breeds. Since they are still puppies, dogs under 1 will require a basic obedience and puppy training class, and spay/neuter at the owners expense. Story
This mama dog is ready to be the center of someone's world! Blue Cheese came to us as a puppy mill release dog, and is still trying to figure out how be a dog. She is a bit timid and shy, but we are hopeful in a patient, loving home she will blossom and show her true colors! Blue is a sweetheart of a girl who gets excited to see you when you walk in the room and will come up and greet you every chance she gets. She is shy and working on her confidence, and you can see her confidence bloom when she's on a walk or hike (she does great on a leash.) She is fully house trained, ignores cats, and does well with dogs and kids. Blue Cheese happily sleeps in her crate through the night, but is thrilled to greet the person opening the crate in the morning. She loves snuggling with her people, exploring outdoors, and is a very easy going dog. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Story
Ditto is the sweetest little pup with a butt that never stops wiggling. She came to us as a puppy mill release, and is slowly starting to come out of her shell. Ditto would do well with a patient family willing to help her continue building her confidence. She will require a good amount of socialization and basic training to keep her brain busy. As an aussie, she's incredibly smart and would love to do dog sports in some capacity, but she also enjoys a good snuggle! All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. If you're interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at sftsrescue.org/adoptableanimals
