Rambo is a deeply loyal, sensitive boy who forms strong bonds with his people. Once he feels safe, he is affectionate, attentive, and happiest staying close to those he trusts. He thrives in a calm, predictable environment and does best with patient adopters who understand that trust takes time. Rambo experiences significant anxiety in new situations and around unfamiliar people, so he needs a quiet home willing to let him decompress at his own pace. In his current home, he lives with children and does well with them, but because he can be cautious, older, respectful kids or an adult-only household may be ideal. He gets along well with his canine companion, Rosie. His behavior with unfamiliar dogs is unknown, so slow introductions would be important. For right person, he will be an incredibly devoted, loving companion. He just needs someone willing to see past his fear and offer him patience, structure, and a safe place. No adoption fee.

I`m Dolly, a border collie mix puppy with black, brown and tan coloring. I came to Animal Ark after I was abandoned. The young man who was temporarily taking care of me described me as shy, obedient, and playful. He said that I liked playing tag and walking in the woods but also enjoyed just hanging out on the couch. I am cautious and reserved around other dogs, and it is not known how I would do around children and cats. Since I`ve been to the shelter, staff have found me to be clean, friendly, and good on a leash. Herding may be in my DNA, and I`m sure I have a strong work ethic. I`d be a great walking partner or just happy to be a part of your family. To meet me, fill out an adoption application and staff will schedule a meet and greet. Hope to see you soon!
