Story
Lee Lee was rescued by our friends at HOPE FOR PAWS when she was very pregnant. She gave birth to 4 puppies and 2 did not survive. The other 2 have been adopted. Poor girl was just a young pup herself. She’s great with other animals and people of all ages. She is playful but not hyper. She is extremely loyal and would love nothing more than to be stuck to your side. We are totally guessing her mix. She’s short, wide and a bit scruffy. 100% adorable!

Story
Hi! My name is Mickey, and I am IN SOUTH KOREA waiting to be matched to a home in Los Angeles! I was rescued from the dog meat trade in South Korea by the DoVE Project. My fate would have been to live in fear and distress, watching dogs being led to slaughter for human consumption. DoVE Project heard about me, and now I am looking for my forever family! ID/NAME: DV23-005 / Mickey SEX/WEIGHT/AGE: Male / 21 lbs / 2 yrs BIRTH DATE: July 1, 2021 BREED: Spitz mix VACCINATIONS/SPAY/NEUTER/HEALTH: Vaccinations complete. Neutered. Healthy. BEHAVIOR: Mickey is a charming pup with an outgoing and positive personality. He loves being around people and also enjoys playing with other dogs. Mickey is doing well learning to walk on a leash. SIBLINGS/FAMILY: Eileen, Rosanna BACKGROUND: Mickey was rescued from a slaughterhouse in Yangpyeong in July 2023. ABOUT OUR DOGS DoVE dogs come from a traumatic background such as dog meat farms and slaughterhouses. While many of our dogs acclimate within a few months with consistency, structure, and patience, some of our more sensitive dogs can take longer to rehabilitate. It's important to note that these sensitive dogs are even more attuned to human emotions and behavior, making for a deeper connection human-dog connection. DoVE Project is committed to helping our adopters desensitize and socialize our dog meat trade survivors. ********************************* DoVE Project operates a shelter in South Korea, where our dogs stay until they are matched with an adopter. In the US, our dogs stay in foster homes or in boarding, as we do not have a physical facility. These dogs are identified with "in LA" in their names. Please note that we only adopt our pups in the Southern California area. Please check our website for more information regarding our adoption process, our mission, and adoption application: https://www.dove-project.org/adoption-process If you are interested in adopting, please complete an online application at: https://www.dove-project.org/adoption-application-form.

Story
Little Rupert originally came to us shut down and stressed out from the shelter environment. He was also quite weary of humans. However, in just a short period of time, he has beautifully blossomed in his foster home and continues to come out of his shell more and more every day! He absolutely loves getting affection and attention and he’s recently started playing with toys and learning tricks. Rupert is only 2 years old and has got some of the most flirty eyes we’ve ever seen! He is sensitive and soulful and sweet natured. We are smitten with this boy. He would do best in a calm household with adults- older children would be okay. He also does well with balanced, confident dogs. We are excited to find Rupert his forever home.

Story
Hey there, my name is Sawyer and I am the most adorable baby boy pup you will ever meet! I am very friendly and love to show affection to people I meet, whether that's through lots of wet kisses or just simple cuddles. Be careful though, you might find that you're falling in love with me! I am also very playful and love to play with just about anything and everything. It is likely that I will play with your socks, shoes, and kids if they are available. As I am still just a baby, I am looking for a family that can show me the ways of the world and help me grow into the best doggo I can be. I am very eager to please, so I will be sure to listen carefully to all of your instructions. Even though I can be a bit boisterous at times, I promise to be a very good boy if you take me under your wing. If you're interested in adopting a fun, friendly, and furry friend like me, please come and visit me today! Text text my Foster mom at 310-930-4409
