PETER: Border Terrier / Neutered Male / 1.5 Months / 19 Pounds HOUSE-TRAINED, INTELLIGENT, PLAYFUL, LIVELY, INDEPENDENT! Peter is a friendly, playful, and affectionate young boy with a loving heart and a resilient spirit. He has a wonderful temperament and is the perfect balance of fun and calm. He enjoys walks in the park, rides nicely in the car, and loves spending time with his people. He is crate trained, well-mannered in the home, and does not bark excessively or destroy things. Peter gets along beautifully with other dogs, is good with children, and absolutely adores being petted and cuddled. He thrives on affection and will happily snuggle up beside you after a little playtime. Peter’s story is one of true survival. He was found lying near a garbage container area, so weak he could barely move. He was rushed to the veterinarian, where it was discovered, he was severely dehydrated and had gone days without food or water. His fur was painfully matted, and his skin was damaged and bleeding. With proper medical care, nutritious food, and lots of love, Peter has made an incredible recovery. Today, he is healthy, happy, and ready for a fresh start with a family who will cherish him the way he deserves. Peter’s gentle nature and grateful heart make him a truly special companion. Winston HB is a 3 year old neutered male Border Terrier Mix who came to us as a stray from Hermosa Beach. This sweet boy has a loving personality and is eager to please. He’s already picking up new tricks and enjoys spending time learning alongside his people. Winston is great with kids and other dogs, making him a wonderful fit for a family looking for a loyal and affectionate companion. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. After getting her energy out, Gumdrop is happy to snuggle up and soak in some affection. She does wonderfully with kids, other dogs, and even cats, and does best in a quiet household where she can feel comfortable and at ease. Meet Mila Mila was rescued after a networker saw a litter of puppies being given away outside of a strip mall in Bellflower. She and her sister are now safe and thriving. Mila is a terrier mix with a playful, spirited personality and a sweet, gentle side. She has those classic puppy energy bursts, but she also loves to cuddle once she has had her fun. Her Lamb Chop toy is her absolute favorite, and she happily switches between playtime and snuggle time. She is doing well with her routine in foster care. Mila and her sister take regular naps in their pen and are building great potty habits using pads. They understand that their pen is a calm, cozy space for resting and treats. Based on her current growth and her mom’s size of 29 lbs., we anticipate Mila will likely be in the 20 to 30 lbs. range full grown. Mila would thrive in a home ready for normal puppy energy, continued training, and plenty of love and engagement.
