Story
Hi! My name is Rosanna, and I am in Los Angeles waiting for my forever home! I was rescued from the dog meat trade in South Korea by the DoVE Project. My fate would have been to live in fear and distress, watching dogs being led to slaughter for human consumption. DoVE Project heard about me, and now I am looking for my forever family! ID/NAME: DV23-006 / Rosanna SEX/WEIGHT/AGE: Female / 24.3 lbs / 4 years BIRTH DATE: July 1, 2020 BREED: Spitz mix VACCINATIONS/SPAY/NEUTER/HEALTH: Vaccinations complete. Spayed. Healthy. BEHAVIOR: Rosanna is a sweet, calm, and intelligent pup. Although she may be timid when meeting someone new, she will quickly warm up to people. She is comfortable around house cats and plays well with other dogs but can be a bit timid with bigger dogs. Rosanna walks well on a leash. SIBLINGS/FAMILY: Rosanna's pups are Mickey and Eileen BACKGROUND: Rosanna was rescued from a slaughterhouse in Yangpyeong in July 2023 ABOUT OUR DOGS DoVE dogs come from a traumatic background such as dog meat farms and slaughterhouses. While many of our dogs acclimate within a few months with consistency, structure, and patience, some of our more sensitive dogs can take longer to rehabilitate. It's important to note that these sensitive dogs are even more attuned to human emotions and behavior, making for a deeper connection human-dog connection. DoVE Project is committed to helping our adopters desensitize and socialize our dog meat trade survivors. ********************************* DoVE Project operates a shelter in South Korea, where our dogs stay until they are matched with an adopter. In the US, our dogs stay in foster homes or in boarding, as we do not have a physical facility. These dogs are identified with "in LA" in their names. Please note that we only adopt our pups in the Southern California area. Please check our website for more information regarding our adoption process, our mission, and adoption application: https://www.dove-project.org/adoption-process If you are interested in adopting, please complete an online application at: https://www.dove-project.org/adoption-application-form.

Story
I'm Tito and I'm looking for a new family. Since I love walking and playing with dogs, it would be great if you had some, or at least neighbors with dogs for playdates. I'm pretty easy-going, and I love my toys too. I'm probably better with older kids because I'm so active, and btw I bark sometimes (hey, I'm a dog!). If you are interested in meeting Tito, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and email it back to us at info@farescue.org or fax (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions. [Tito is about 1 years old and weighs 18 lbs.] (2406)

Story
Loretta is absolutely adorable. She is a fin little dog and great with other dogs. She is about two years old and way about 12 pounds If you are interested in meeting or adopting her, please go straight to our website and fill out the online online adoption application at fochp.org    Please fill out our online application (www.fochp.org).  Once you meet the pet and decide it is the right pet for your family there is an adoption fee.  The adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, microchip, 30-day pet health insurance which you will need to order when we provide you with the number.    Our adoption fees are non-refundable so please be sure you are ready for a commitment to the pet you are interested in. Please be sure to check your spam mail if you feel you have not heard from us. Once we receive the application, we can put you in touch with the foster home so you can schedule a time to meet the pet.  Our adoption process is pretty quick, and a lot of volunteers are involved to ensure you get a quick response.  Please…. only fill out the application if you are ready to adopt right now and have consent from all parties involved.  Once you submit the application please verify that it is received (the screen will say your application has been received) if you do not get that message it has not been submitted. – if you do not hear from us within 1 hour, we may not have received your application.    Adoptions are based on Best fit/match and then 1st come 1st serve.  Please check your email regularly for a response from the foster and be prepared for the opportunity to meet the dog as soon as they can be adopted.    July 24, 2024, 11:34 pm

Story
Scruffles is such a nice dog! He’s house trained, quiet, loving and just a pleasant dog. He was found as a stray, filthy, patchy hairloss from bad nutrition and fleas. He had a foxtail in one of his ears, ear infections and a matted coat. He’s grateful to be safe and loved. He prefers a calm environment, puppies and high energy dogs are too much for his chill vibe.
