Story
Meet Lina Lina was rescued after a networker saw a litter of puppies being given away outside of a strip mall in Bellflower. She and her sister are now safe and thriving. Lina is a terrier mix with a bold, spirited personality. She is a little firecracker, full of energy and affection. She loves to jump right into your arms for playtime and snuggles and is always ready for fun. Toys are her favorite, especially her beloved rubber ducky. She is curious and adventurous, always exploring her surroundings and keeping things interesting. And when she is done with her latest adventure, she crashes hard and happily recharges for the next round of fun. Based on her growth and her mom’s size of 29 lbs., we anticipate she will likely be in the 20 to 30 lbs. range full grown. She is doing well with her puppy routine in foster care, taking regular naps in her pen and building great potty habits using pads. Lina would thrive in an active home ready for puppy energy, continued training, and lots of engagement. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application at hitlivingfoundation.org/adopt. DOB: 12/17/25 Adoption Fee: $800

Story
✨ Meet Mama Star ✨ Mama Star is a true hero with a heart of pure gold. This sweet girl was found hiding on an abandoned desert property where coyotes had already claimed the lives of other mamas and puppies. Against all odds, Mama Star survived — and not only that — she was lovingly nursing five puppies, three of whom weren’t even her own. She stepped in when they had no one else. Still just a baby herself at 12–18 months old, Mama Star showed strength, gentleness, and devotion beyond words. Now it’s her turn to be cared for. At just 10.5 lbs, Mama Star is the perfect little companion — affectionate, playful, and endlessly loving. She has a soft, nurturing soul and a happy, puppy-like spirit that shines the moment you meet her. She loves people, enjoys playtime, and is just as content snuggling close as she is exploring the world around her. Mama Star is: • ⭐ Fully vaccinated • ⭐ Spayed • ⭐ Microchipped • ⭐ A total lovebug If you’re looking for a dog who embodies resilience, kindness, and unconditional love, Mama Star might be your once-in-a-lifetime match. Some dogs don’t just walk into your life — they shine their way in. 💌 Interested in adopting Mama Star? Please email info@concernedcitizensanimalrescue.org to receive an adoption application. She saved lives. Now let her change yours. 💫🐶💛

Story
This pretty little lady is Phoebe! Phoebe came to us when a cat rescuer we work with told us how she was contacted by her neighbor regarding a little dog that was dumped on the streets and being chased by coyotes. Thankfully, the neighbor got her to safety, but could not hold onto her longer than overnight. Our cat rescuer friend got Phoebe scanned for a microchip (she didn't have one) and for a little over a week tried to find the owner, but nobody ever came to claim her. We took this sweet girl into our foundation and had her fully vetted. Phoebe is a female, approx 3 year old, approx 12lb, Border/Norfolk Terrier that is the most delightful dog you will ever meet! We would love to see her in a home with another playful and good natured dog or she could go into a home where the owners are not gone long hours during the day and would continue to socialize her. Phoebe most likely never had the love that every dog deserves, so we promised her that we will find her that home...filled with love and happiness. Phoebe is vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. We only adopt in So Calif as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial period are required. Please contact us at gina@theforgottendog.org or 310-990-2020

Story
Ryder is the total package! This sweet and lovable Cairn terrier mix is the definition of a loyal companion. With a laid-back, easy-going nature, Ryder is happy to hang out with you on the couch or play fetch in the yard — especially if there are doggie snacks involved! Ryder was rescued at 8 weeks old from Hesperia Shelter, with a sibling who passed from parvo soon after they arrived. Ryder never developed parvo and has been healthy since that time. He gets along wonderfully with kids and other dogs, and his non-shedding coat makes him a great option for families who prefer less fur around the house. Ryder’s calm, affectionate, and loyal personality makes him an ideal addition to just about any home. He is microchipped, neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. Ryder is currently being fostered in San Bernadino County, CA and must be picked up from there. For adoption information, please contact AlphaDogPetRescue@yahoo.com
