Story
Hey everyone, you have to meet Billie — a gorgeous, fun-loving girl who is now looking for her forever home.. Billie was born November 10, 2024 and is currently about 32 pounds. Her DNA shows she’s mostly a Boston Terrier / Spaniel mix, with a little bit of other breeds sprinkled in. She’s the perfect size for playing, cuddling, and everyday adventures. She’s great with children, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and absolutely loves to play. Billie enjoys going for walks and has a happy, playful personality that makes her a joy to be around. She’s about 90% house trained—just the occasional accident, like most dogs. Billie’s previous family had her since birth but sadly could no longer keep her, so she’s lost the only home she’s ever known. Now she’s hoping someone special will step in and give her the lifetime of love and security she deserves. Unfortunately, her family did not keep her on heartworm prevention, and she did test heartworm positive. The good news is she tested negative in May, so the worm load is believed to be very low. Billie will be going through treatment, and this is included in her adoption fee of $225. Are you ready to take over and give Billie the loving forever home she deserves? She’s ready to steal your heart. Complete your application today at https://www.chloespetrescue.org/application

Story
Meet Dixie – Your Ride-or-Die Best Friend Dixie is a Boston Terrier mix girl with a happy heart and a go-everywhere attitude. The moment she sees the car, she’s ready to hop in—adventures are her favorite! Dixie is potty trained, sleeps soundly in her crate, and knows her name well. She’s a wonderful companion who sticks close to her people and follows her foster mom wherever she goes. The second her foster mom sits down, Dixie is right there, climbing into her lap like she belongs (because she thinks she does). She’s playful and fun, especially when it comes to zooming around and playing “king of the couch.” Dixie enjoys her walks but prefers to get where she’s going quickly, so she’s walked with a harness and does best with someone ready to guide her enthusiasm. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate sidekick who wants to be part of everything you do, Dixie is ready to claim her spot—especially if that spot is your lap. ##2590361##

Story
Jessie was dumped and some nice people saw her on the county road.  They knew that she would die out there so they brought her home.  She is living in a barn because their dogs are older  and not happy with her presence.  She is good with other dogs and loves playing where the resident dogs do not - thus the problem.  She weighs 25 lbs and they think she is a mix of a Boston Terrier and a Jack Russell Terrier but just a guess.  She is super cute,She's very sweet and smart; she just wants to play and is active.  She has been in this situation for 2 months and getting lonely.  The finders do not want to take her to a shelter. She's probably a year and a half - vet said she's lost all her baby teeth. 25 lbs. Good with other dogs, cats questionable...she likes them but plays rough. She is smart - can  sit and fetch. Loves squeaky toys and treats. She would be amazing in basic training.. ##2581781##

Story
Hi, I’m Chewie! I’m an 11-year-old pup with a youthful spirit and a heart full of love. At just 16 pounds, I’m the perfect size for lap cuddles, backyard zoomies, and everything in between. I’m a smart cookie—potty trained, crate trained, and always eager to please. I listen well and love making my humans happy. Whether it’s chasing toys, soaking up the sun, or flopping over for a belly rub, I bring joy to every moment. I’ve got a gentle soul and a playful streak, and I never say no to attention or snuggles. I’m happiest in a cat-free home, and while I haven’t spilled the beans on how I feel about other dogs just yet, I’d appreciate slow introductions to help me feel safe and comfortable. Also, I am a bit of a door darter, so you'll need to be careful around open doors.  If you’re looking for a bright, affectionate buddy who’ll be your sunshine and your snuggle bug, I’m your guy. Let’s make some memories together! My adoption fee is $100, but if you are a senior yourself (65+), my adoption fee is waived. Chewie takes Vetmedin which costs approximately $60 per month.   Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts! We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Story
Hello there. My name is Murphy, and I am a 15-year-old lil boy who weighs 22 pounds. I am so lucky this wonderful rescue came and saved me; I did not grow up in a very nice environment. I am a particular little guy; I like to do things on my own terms. I do not like to be forced to do things which makes me upset and nip. I also do not like to share toys or food. I want to be the leader, so I need to be the only dog in the house. I am still learning how to be a dog and still working on my house training and my manners. I do have some hearing loss and need kidney care food because of my age. I absolutely love to be outside and play with stuffies. My ideal home would a person who can teach me manners and who is willing to help me be a better guy. My adoption fee is $100, but if you are a senior yourself (65+), my adoption fee is waived. Must be an only dog. No children. Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts! NOTE:  Hospice fosters have ongoing medical needs that will require care for the rest of their lives. While they remain available for adoption, we carefully screen potential homes to ensure their medical and special needs can be fully supported. BTRNT is committed to providing these dogs with a loving forever home—whether that is through adoption or as a permanent hospice foster within our rescue. We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Story
Hi! My name is TJ and oh boy do I love to play ball! I am a very loving and happy 36 pound 5 year old boy. I am housetrained and crate trained. I have lots of energy and would love a home with an active family. Because of my energy, my foster mom says older kids might be best for me. I am also very protective of my food so I need a family or owner who understands that and how to work with that. I am selective of my doggie friends so, I would do best with a home without dogs. My ideal family would be one who loves to play with me and are looking for a handsome, gentle boy. The most important thing in my life is finding my forever home and family. MUST BE ONLY DOG. My adoption fee is $350. Thank you for supporting our rescue efforts!  We are always looking for good foster homes.
