Looks like: Boxer, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever Mix Male, 8 years old (estimated), 71 pounds Meet the dog with the world's biggest heart! Hank has tons of love to share in the form of cuddles, snuggles, and adoration for his family. Hank refuses to pick favorites-in fact, he's a fan of yours already! He has excellent manners-no jumping up when saying hello, never begging, and asking permission before getting onto a bed or couch. Hank would be happiest in a house where folks have deep reserves of affection ready to share with him. This energetic boy will need people who welcome a dog with spirit, strength, and passions: car rides, long walks, hikes, and fetch (only the best game in the world). He has shown some dog reactivity while on leash, but with reminders and training he's already showing signs of improvement. He has successfully lived with cats in the past, but would require a gradual introduction with any new kitty friends. He admits that his natural inclination is to chase cats (squirrels are also kind of irresistible). Hank sometimes protects his resources when he settles into a home. He would be best in a home as a solo dog or with a pup who is happy to share toys and chews and won't be bothered by Hank's miserly tendencies at times! We don't know yet how Hank would do with children. Hank's dream situation would include humans of his very own to love, squeaky toys, and a yard. Hank's DNA results show that he's a Super Mutt Mix! He's 50% Boxer mixed with German Shepherd, Golden Retriever and Border Collie. Hank was surrendered to us because his senior guardian was no longer able to care for him.

Looks like: Pitbull Mix Male, 7 years old (estimated), 57 pounds Sweet and soulful Jasper is ready to land in his forever home and begin to bond with his forever humans. Jasper has lived with dogs both big and small and is very gentle with the little dogs. Jasper loves playing with dogs his size, and he has even lived with two kitties in his former home and was very respectful of them. He has a really fun personality and is reported to be easy to train with his love of yummy treats! Jasper is a very active guy and is strong on leash, so he is searching for a home with a strong leash handler for his daily walks. In his previous foster home, Jasper lived with cats, kids, goats, horses and other dogs. He is a friendly and super social boy! Jasper's 90-year-old guardian recently passed away. The son of the guardian is disabled so was unable to take this good boy into his care. He was taken in and cared for by a loving neighbor, but unfortunately, being a senior herself, she was unable to provide him a forever home, so she turned to POMDR for help.

Looks like: Pit Bull mix Male, 8 years old (estimated), 65 pounds One look at Simson's smile and we're sure you'll fall in love. This sweet guy is a playful pup who loves a game of fetch just as much as he loves a good snuggle session. He's a friendly fellow, both with other dogs and with people, and he's always ready for the next adventure. Simson currently lives with a group of other dogs, where he is simply thriving. He would do great in a home with other dogs. It can take him a little while to warm up, but once he does, he's thrilled to have some doggy brothers and sisters. We have not yet seen Simson with kitties or kiddos, so we'd like to make sure all interactions were monitored and young children were respectful before making a match. He would also do well in a home where he has outside space to run around, play with toys, and go on sniffaris. Simson came to us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after being found as a stray.
