Story
Hey there! I’m Ginny and I’m here to bring all the fun and silliness your way! I’m a playful, wiggly little ball of joy, always ready to bounce around and make you laugh. I might trip over my own paws sometimes (oops!), but that’s just part of my charm. I love to play, snuggle, and spend time with my favorite humans. I’ll need a little training to become the best girl I can be, but with my big heart and eagerness to learn, I’ll be by your side every step of the way. Ready for some fun? Let’s make some great memories together! For more information contact the Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority (SVACA) at 408-764-0344 or visit www.svaca.com.

Story
Looks like: Boxer Male, 4 years old (estimated), 60 pounds Meet Bruno, the sweetest and goofiest boy with a big heart and an even bigger personality! Bruno is a young, strong, energetic guy who is happiest when he's playing, exploring, and spending time with his people. He absolutely LOVES toys, especially the ones that squeak! He's sure to keep his future family entertained with his playful antics. Bruno can be a wonderful companion, but sharing a home with another dog, he's become increasingly uncomfortable sharing his space and meeting dogs when he's on leash. For this reason, we're looking for a solo-dog home where he can be his family's one and only pup. We think having his people all to himself will be a wonderful thing for this guy! Bruno is a strong and energetic dog who would love an active family ready to give him plenty of exercise, enrichment, and fun. He's the kind of dog who will happily join you for adventures and then settle in for some quality time with his favorite people afterward. Bruno has had a rough stretch recently, and we're so ready to see him get the fresh start he deserves. His ideal home will be one that understands his need for some space from other dogs and is willing to help him feel confident and successful on walks. In return, you'll get a goofy, affectionate, playful companion who will make you laugh, keep you moving, and love being your one-and-only. Bruno joined POMDR after his loving guardian sadly and unexpectedly passed away. He was adopted for a short while but he was living with another dog which did not go as hoped. He now finds himself looking to be the apple of his adopter's eye!

Story
* To be considered for a meet/adoption, please read the full biography to see whether they may be a good fit for your home, then submit an online application at www.dpsrescue.org.* This dog will be at the Pet Food Express Pet Fair - San Jose North on Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, September 13th from 10AM–3PM both days (unless adopted prior to the event).  5148 Stevens Creek Blvd, San Jose All DPS Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea/tick treated, and microchipped prior to adoption.   Adoption fee: $650   Meet Hi-C — A Refreshing Reason to Fall in Love Born in the shelter but raised in the safety of our rescue to adorable Mama Sunny D, a petite, low-rider Pittie mix, Hi-C has spent his entire life surrounded by love, good care, and plenty of opportunities to grow into a confident, happy pup. Now, at 15 weeks old and weighing somewhere around 25 pounds, he's ready to trade the nursery for a forever home. His days begin bright and early around 7 a.m. with a potty break outside before digging into his favorite Nulo puppy breakfast. Since growing puppies work up quite an appetite, he enjoys meals every 3–4 hours throughout the day before spending his time doing what puppies do best: playing, wrestling, exploring, collecting toys, greeting visitors, and occasionally crashing for an adorable nap. He spends his days roaming the barn with plenty of enrichment and has been raised alongside adult dogs and cats, making him a respectful housemate in the making. By about 9 p.m., he's happily tucked into bed after another adventure-filled day. Hi-C: Big Heart, Big Paws, Big Personality Hi-C is a sturdy little guy with a playful spirit and endless confidence — and every pound of him is sweetness. Whether he's chasing toys, exploring the barn, or making new human friends, Hi-C approaches everything with joy. He's quick to say hello when visitors arrive and loves being right in the middle of the action. If you're looking for a puppy who's equal parts goofy playmate and loyal best friend, Hi-C is ready for the job. Looking for a Little Refreshment? Like all young puppies, Hi-C will need a family committed to positive training, socialization, patience, and lots of love as he grows into a wonderful adult dog. In return, you'll get years of laughter, loyal companionship, and a best friend who's guaranteed to brighten every season — not just summer. September 12, 2026, 3:27 am

Story
Jojo is being fostered in Illinois. Has some vision.Hi. My name is Jojo. I am a 4-year-old boxer mix. I like to think of myself as a playful happy-go-lucky gal. I may not see you well because close objects are like shadows and a little blurry to me, but I know you are there. I get along well with all the cats and dogs in my foster home. I like cats (see https://youtu.be/t_3b0r0n9LY ). But I may need slow introductions with little feisty dogs. But I would love to go to a home that has many friendly 4-legged buddies.I like to be active and meet people and other dogs (see https://youtu.be/9LG4Cy9_kJI ). However, I am not too good with children because a lot of time kids either approach me too fast or gather around me, which makes me so scared that I have to give a warning snap. But I do love my walks. Even more, I love an open field that I can have all to myself so I can let out a lot of my energy (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nWkm8OssZU ). At home, I like to relax and sit at my spot while my foster daddy is doing his work. Everyday, I get to be petted and it makes me feel loved (see https://youtu.be/Y_-7FDicj-M ).I am housebroken. However, every once in a while, I have accidents because anxiety gets the best of me when I realize my foster dad has not been home for a while. I will do well in a home where someone is present 90-95 percent of time, perhaps with someone who works out of home or is an active retired person.Blind Dog Rescue has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
