Jojo is being fostered in Illinois. She has some vision. Hi. My name is Jojo. I am a 4-year-old boxer mix. I like to think of myself as a playful happy-go-lucky gal. I may not see you well because close objects are like shadows and a little blurry to me, but I know you are there. I get along well with all the cats and dogs in my foster home. I like cats. But I may need slow introductions with little feisty dogs. But I would love to go to a home that has many friendly 4-legged buddies. I like to be active and meet people and other dogs. However, I am not too good with children because a lot of time kids either approach me too fast or gather around me, which makes me so scared that I have to give a warning snap. But I do love my walks. Even more, I love an open field that I can have all to myself so I can let out a lot of my energy. At home, I like to relax and sit at my spot while my foster daddy is doing his work. Everyday, I get to be petted and it makes me feel loved. I am housebroken. However, every once in a while, I have accidents because anxiety gets the best of me when I realize my foster dad has not been home for a while. I will do well in a home where someone is present 90-95 percent of time, perhaps with someone who works out of home or is an active retired person. Blind Dog Rescue has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Juvy is the sweetest, most cuddly boy you’ll ever meet. ❤️ I rescued him about a year ago, and over time I’ve come to realize that he carries a lot of trauma from his previous owners. Because of this, he can become anxious and territorial in new spaces or when he feels threatened. Unfortunately, I’m moving and won’t be able to take him with me, and it breaks my heart knowing I can no longer care for this sweet boy. My biggest hope is to find him a loving home where someone is patient, understanding, and willing to help him feel safe and comfortable. Juvy would do best in a child-free home with someone who has experience handling dogs with anxiety or reactive/territorial behaviors. With the right introduction and environment, he may be able to adjust to living with other animals. He is also a wonderful guard dog and is very protective of the people he trusts. 🥺❤️ I want to be completely transparent about his needs because finding the right home for Juvy is more important to me than

I helped out my son and his fiancé after they found out they were having a baby, the dog would become too much for them with a baby and a work schedule. Sky is just about to turn 4 in September. I would love if she could have a home with a yard and plenty of space to run around. Sky is a sweet, kind, loving dog, she has lots of energy. Sky loves to play tug a war, loves to lay on a blanket or something soft. I have a 2 bdrm condo, I am divorced and it’s just too much for me alone to handle, she’s very strong and healthy girl.
