He is protective and territorial and needs an adult-only home with no cats, chickens, or livestock, as he may attack them. Any placement with other dogs would require professional assessment.A securely fenced property with room to roam could be a plus!We love Drekko and want the RIGHT home for him. Meet Coco. She's 60-ish pounds of happiness wrapped in a blocky head with a smile that never seems to quit. If dogs had personality types, Coco would be "golden retriever energy trapped in a potato body." She wakes up excited. She goes outside excited. She sees people excited. She sees dogs excited. Honestly, she's just thrilled to be here. Now, about those walks... Coco believes the leash is merely a suggestion. She approaches every walk with the confidence of someone who thinks they're leading an expedition up Mount Everest. A little training will go a long way, but until then, consider it your daily upper-body workout. When she's done exploring the world at warp speed, she's more than happy to plop onto the couch beside you like the oversized baked potato she truly is. Coco does well with medium and large dogs but would prefer to skip the tiny roommates—no small dogs or cats for this girl. Rock is a sweet, lovable, slightly dopey boy whose entire personality can be summed up by FOOD! TOYS! FRIENDS! His two brain cells are constantly fighting over which one he loves more, and honestly, neither one is putting up much of a fight. He absolutely LIVES for food and toys, so if you’re looking for a dog who will enthusiastically participate in snack time, toy time, and basically any activity that might possibly involve snacks or toys, Rock is your guy. He’s friendly with everyone—dogs, cats, and people of all ages—and he just wants a family to call his own. He’s potty trained and crate trained. He should be crated when he’s unsupervised because left to his own devices, Rock will create his own entertainment. And we cannot guarantee that his definition of “fun” will match yours. 😂 He does occasionally add a little drool to the decor, but we promise it’s a minor detail compared to the giant goofy personality that comes with him. Rock is sweet, silly, affectionate, toy-obsessed, food-motivated, and WAY overdue for his forever home. Kiki is a young and pretty girl who would love an adopter that will play with her! She's the perfect blend of snuggly and playful. Kiki is a bit shy/scared when meeting new people but wants to warm up. Her adopter will need to be patient with Kiki as she is shy and has never been inside of a house. Kiki and 30 other dogs were seized by law enforcement and their previous owner charged with animal cruelty and dog fighting. The dogs all lived outside on heavy chains without access to food and water. Because Kiki has never lived inside or had a loving owner she'll need help with basic skills like potty training. But Kiki doesn't need help learning how to play! She loves to play fetch and race around the play yard with volunteers that she's learned to trust. She is one of the smartest dogs that we've ever worked with and would love to do activities like agility, scentwork etc after she's able to build more confidence. At this time Kiki needs to be either an only pet or be in a household that will separate Kiki from other pets until she's decompressed.
