Story
DARCY is a sweetheart, who likes to take walks and loves to play with her ball. Darcy came to us off the street with pretty much no hair at all but, she is now fit, healthy and ready for a forever home. Darcy is a sweet, gentle girl who has a lot of love to give. Darcy’s new home will need a fenced yard so, she can stretch her legs and exercise a bit to keep up her girlish figure. Darcy’s would do best in a home, without other dogs or cats....as she likes them a bit too much.  Applications can be found on our website www.starbrightanimalrescue.org or please e-mail sbanimalrescue@yahoo.com for an application for DARCY. We try to respond to ALL inquiries so, please check your junk mailbox if, you're waiting to hear from us.

Story
This Boxer mix boy is our Rascal. He is as close to the perfect dog you could ever meet. He has come so far from the boy that was almost euthanized by animal control because he was terrified of men. Thanks to his out and about volunteer, he is asking all sizes of men for love and affection. He is calm, loves to ride, and that sweet underbite wins everyone heart over. He needs a loving home that does not have small yappy dogs. Rascal will be here a year in August. We hope he does not have to start a second year here.

Story
Bear is about 3 years old. He was adopted as a puppy at 12 weeks old from another rescue. He grew up in same home as an inside dog. Then a family member moved in with the family who was afraid of dogs. So bear was owner Surrendered to a kill shelter . Days away from euthanasia we took him in and he was safe. As we always do scared him for a chip and found he had one😔 I contacted the previous owner and wanted to know if he knew Bear was in the shelter. Sad part was he put him there 😩. This boy is the sweetest precious baby ever. He is house trained doggie door trained and even recliner trained. Bear deserves a human and home that won’t fail him again. If you are interested in this handsome boy please contact us at dogs. Rescueranch@gmail.com please give 24 hours for response also include all contact information 🐶

Story
Nova was adopted from animal control just as her time there was running out. The family that adopted lost their home to a fire and has to relocate. They could not afford the pet deposit so we are assisting in finding Nova a new home. She is still very much a puppy and would do best in a home where she gets lots of attention. She plays well with other dogs but because she doesn’t understand everything doesn’t want to play with her she would do best in a home without cats or small dogs. She loves dogs toys even though she destroys them. She is very affectionate and loving.

Name: Olive Breed: 5 Years as of June 2022 Age: Staffordshire Terrier Sex: Female Weight: 52 lbs Good with Kids: Yes. Olive is a gorgeous girl made of chocolate swirls and butterscotch candy. She is an active girl that would love to have a family that takes her for adventures and hikes and possibly even a run or two. Olive walks well on a leash and loves to party! Olive came to us as an unclaimed stray in our county that has no animal control. She had apparently been on her own and fending for herself for quite some time as she was very thin. Good groceries in the pantry, Olive is now ready for her forever home where she is the center of her universe. Because of her hard past she prefers not to share her home with other animals. ---- Peach County Animal Rescue is a rescue located in Fort Valley, GA. Our adoption fees range from $250-350+.
