Story
Meet Tuna 🐾 Tuna is a dapper young lady with a striking white coat and a heart full of potential! At just 8 months old, this Labrador/Boxer mix is in her "teenager" phase—meaning she’s past the tiny puppy stage but still has plenty of youthful energy and curiosity to share. Tuna recently joined us as a transfer and has been a delight since the moment she arrived. Weighing in at 40 lbs, she is a sturdy, medium-sized companion who is ready to find a family to call her own. Tuna is a social girl with a unique "Mirror Match" play style. This means she tends to reflect the energy of the dogs she’s with! She is Dog Selective/Friendly, playing very nicely with dogs that match her vibe. She hasn't had the chance to interact with children or cats while in our care. As with any shelter animal, we recommend supervised introductions to ensure she is a great fit for your specific household. Whether she's sporting her favorite green bowtie or just wagging her tail in greeting, she is sure to bring a lot of light to her future forever home!

Story
Meet Dexter! This sweet Boxer mix is as affectionate as they come—his favorite place is right in your lap. Dexter loves car rides, playing fetch, splashing in the water, and being close to his people. He has the typical boxer energy and boxer traits. He’s potty trained, does well in his crate, and sleeps through the night. Dexter already knows sit, down, place, and come—and with his love of treats, he’s eager to keep learning! He’s still practicing leash manners (sometimes he forgets and pulls), but with patience he’ll nail it in no time. He would do best in a home without little kids. If you’re looking for a snuggly best friend with tons of potential, Dexter’s your guy!!

Story
Meet BaileyBailey is a 5-year-old Boxer mix who came to us as a surrender and is now looking for a calm, understanding home where she can feel safe, decompress, and learn that the world isn’t so scary after all.In the shelter environment, Bailey can be a nervous girl who needs gentle coaxing and patience when meeting new people or facing new situations. She doesn’t rush into trust — she takes her time, watches closely, and learns at her own pace. But if you’re steady and kind with her, she starts to believe in you… little by little.Outside of the kennel, that softer side begins to shine. In a yard or quiet space, she’ll pause and just look at her person for a moment like she’s deciding it’s okay to let go. Then suddenly — zoomies. Pure joy, like she’s letting out everything she was holding in. A quick kiss, a burst of energy, and back again… as if she’s reminding you she wants to trust, she just needs time to get there. Her one guaranteed shortcut to her heart? Cheese — the moment it appears, she comes right out, no hesitation.Even in her uncertainty, Bailey is learning that people can be her safe place. She has even shown how well she settles into calm environments, making herself an excellent “office dog.” She’ll quietly tuck herself under a desk, keep watch from her little safe spot, and occasionally peek out just to check in before settling right back down.Bailey previously lived with children, but because loud noises and fast movements can feel overwhelming, she will do best in a home with children over 10 who understand the importance of calm, gentle interactions and giving her space when she needs it.She has also shown prior exposure to cats. She was curious but calm and uninterested during shelter introductions, and may do well with cats with proper, slow introductions. With other dogs, Bailey does best with calm, low-energy companions. High-energy dogs can feel like too much for her, but in the right match she can coexist peacefully and comfortably, until she is ready to play.Bailey is still learning that she doesn’t have to figure everything out on her own — that there are people who will be steady, patient, and kind while she builds confidence. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t open up all at once, but slowly, quietly, beautifully… in her own time. With patience, consistency, and a gentle home, Bailey has all the potential to become a deeply loyal, affectionate companion who f

Story
Mocha is the sweetest pup! She loves to be loved! She is a high energy puppy and with current health issues going on we cannot give her the care that she needs. She deserves a loving home with a backyard for her to roam! She is good with other dogs and any kids we have been around. She loves to cuddle and to nap! She has been doing good with potty training but does have occasional accidents when I am at work, or if she gets to excited. Her estimated birthday is august 1. She was adopted at the humane society as at 13-15 weeks old.
