Rooster loves to run and play, so his adoptive home must have a fenced in yard. With proper intros he like making doggie friends and has been good with dogs large and small (20+lbs). Cats on the other-hand he gets a bit over excited about and needs a home without them present, Rooster likes kids, but due to being touchy about his paws, he needs a home with kids 12 and older Interested adopters must be local to the Saint Louis, MO metro area. Meet Roscoe, he was found as a stray. He is very friendly and gets along with other dogs. the nice family that found him can’t keep him but is fostering him until his forever family can be found. They think he’s young, like under 2 yrs old. He’s house broke and very sweet. Plays with their poodle like they are best friends. He would need a fenced yard because he’s a critter chaser. She deserves a loving home with a backyard for her to roam! She is good with other dogs and any kids we have been around. She loves to cuddle and to nap! She has been doing good with potty training but does have occasional accidents when I am at work, or if she gets to excited. Her estimated birthday is august 1. She was adopted at the humane society as at 13-15 weeks old.

Hi, This handsome boy is Jax! He is 7 years old. Jax would prefer to be in a quieter home with no other pets or small children. He has lived with another dog for 5 years but has shown aggresion on multiple occasions. He has lived with small children but tends to get uneasy around them at times. Jax enjoys walks but does not walk on a leash very well. He does not enjoy fireworks or other similar loud noises. Jax is house trained and crate trained. Jax is a very sweet boy, loves to cuddle, head scratches, and relaxing. When playing or wanting attention he often forgets his size compared to yours and will throw his whole body weight against you. Jax will need time to warm up to a new family so please give him time to adjust. Jax deserves another loving, quiet home.

Preston is a wonderful, 3 legged dog but my daughter had a baby 11 months ago who now lives with us and Preston is afraid of the walker and various baby things. Loves being pet, he loves giving kisses, running with the other dogs and playing with tennis balls. He really loves belly rubs. He does well with older children. Preston has crate trained himself and it is his safe space, he eats and naps in there. At bedtime, Preston likes to sleep on the floor by the bed. It is unknown if he s in pain or not but his vet was giving him carophen. And he does have seasonal allergies.

Adoptable Thora, Female, 3yrs, American Bulldog/ Presa Canario, 85lbs *** in home breed type experience only *** *** special dietary/ supplement needs *** Thora is an amazing girl and will make someone a loyal and loving companion. Thora had trouble adapting to her original home and had been turned over to rescue in 2020. After much structure based work, she has turned into an exceptional dog. She is crate trained and thrives in pleasing her humans and has been doing very well in her basic obedience. Thora has an extremely sensitive stomach and requires specific food and supplements to keep her balanced. She is crate trained and has decent house manners. With proper introductions, Thora is good with other dogs, cats and older kids. Note: Though Thora loves to run, play and swim, she is a bit limited. When the previous owners attempted to re-home her, there had been cohabitation issues with another dog in the home. During an altercation Thora's front leg had been pretty tore up and she now has extensive scaring on one of her joints, that can cause her some discomfort/ limping. Though this doesn't slow her down, long hikes and runs would not be an option. Thora is a local Saint Louis, Mo area adoption. Her adoption fee is $250, she is up to date and fully vetted.
