Story
Hi friends! My name is Reaper and I am about 2.5 years old! I am a friendly boy that is excited to find my furever home! I'm a very curious dog so don't expect me to interact right away, I just like to take in my environment which includes smelling all the new smells. As soon as I am done checking out my surroundings I will definitely love to play! I like to play tug the most but watch your arms because I'm not very coordinated and have been known to accidently get mouthy with people's arms (no worries I let go right away)! I don't have an aggressive bone in my body and don't mind if you take food or toys from me (a bad habit so don't just take things but if its something I'm not supposed to have you are safe to take it from me). I will need to work on my manners but no worries I am highly treat motivated. I'm a fun guy to take out and walk so grab a leash and learn a little more about me! I do well with other dogs as long as they can keep up with my energy and play style! Just like with tug of war, I can play pretty rough with other dogs too, so they gotta keep up with me! Unfortunately, I do not do well with cats, so I will need a cat free home.Give the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me! If not, stop by the shelter at 1048 S 325 E in Pierceton, IN 46562 to look at me! No appointments necessary!

Story
Just one look at this guy and you can't help but wonder why he was given the name Chicken? We do not have a clue. He is a senior guy looking for a home to spend out the later years of his life with all the comforts that a loving home will provide. Chicken still has a good amount of energy, but at the end of the day, he would simply prefer to curl up in your favorite chair, if you will let him, or a plush dog bed. He would do best with older children and a quieter lifestyle since that is what he had in his prior home. Come meet this guy and check out his big soulful eyes. They do not come more irresistible than our Poppy! She will surely pop her way right into your heart. She is young, vibrant, and ready to go to her new home. This boxer mix is working on her basic obedience skills and doggie manners. She has met some dog friends, but tends to be very dog selective. Due to her energy and enthusiasm Poppy would do better with older children only 12+, and a secure fenced yard.DOB 11/10/23 40 Pounds and GrowingI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. Hi, I’m Lola! I’m a sweet, goofy girl. I can take a bit to warm up to someone new, but once I do, I will greet you with a piggy snort. I would love a home with no cats, dogs, or small children. A home with a yard would be fun as well! I love to run around and play. I would benefit from attending a class or private session from one of our recommended trainers, such as A Canine Story, to continue setting me up for success. I really can't wait to find her forever home and make new memories! Story
Meet Jude.... she is a beautiful brown / black brindle female boxer mix. She is a sweet soul who wants to be where you are. She is very friendly and wants to meet and greet everyone (no one is a stranger). She can be a little shy at first meeting, but in no time she will determine if she can snuggle up and call you hers. Given her love of people, she does not like to be left alone. She will do best in a household where someone is home most of the day or she can travel with you. She is very very well behaved if she has a person with her. If she is alone she will find things to get into and will scratch and chew things. If left alone, she will need to be crated in a heavy duty, non-wire crate to keep her safe. She is using a crate in her foster home and does get anxious at first going in, but does settle down in 5-15 mintues. She is great with cats however she sometimes does try to chase them in a playful manner, but does really well when being called over to leave them be. She seems to know the "leave it" command. Jude is also good with other dogs, she is friendly and does the appropriate get to know you sniff but is not too intrusive. So, she would be fine in a house with other pets. Jude wants to believe she’s a lap dog. She'll make the lap thing happen! She gets very excited for food and would do best with a slow feeder to keep her from scarfing her food in 2 seconds. P.S. She’s super soft ! Come and meet Jude and pet her soft, sweet face for yourself.  ##943684##

She needs a steady, loving home committed to helping her safely lose weight through measured feedings and a little extra movement along the way.   She is looking for more than just a home. She’s looking for someone willing to say, “I’ve got you from here.”   Because behind all of those needs is a bubbly, loving girl with a huge heart who is ready to give someone her whole world.   **Must be kept on Prescription Urinary Care Food, as she is prone to Bladder Stones   Spayed, microchipped, Heartworm & Lyme Negative, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Adoption fee is $100   If you are interested in meeting and adopting, please submit an application here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/application-to-adopt-a-dog Once submitted, staff will review your application during open hours.
