Story
Hey there… I’m Brutus! I’m a 1 year old, 59 lb Boxer/APBT mix with a handsome face and a big, happy personality to match! I came to the shelter because my owner joined the military and could no longer keep me. Now I’m just waiting for my next family to come along. I'm a friendly and social guy. I love meeting people and getting attention! Here’s a little more about me: Playful and full of energy Crate trained Mostly potty trained I’ve lived with a cat before, but I’ll be honest… I like to play rough and like to chase them when they run. Because of that, I’d probably do best without them or living with a playful or confident cat who won’t mind telling me to knock it off. I seem to do well with other dogs and we expect I’d do just fine with respectful kids too.   Since I’m still young, I’m learning my manners. Sometimes when I get excited, I might jump up to say hello. I’m not trying to be rude… I just get really happy to see people! With a little guidance and consistency, I’ll have that figured out in no time. I’m also mostly potty trained. I’ve had the occasional accident, but with a regular routine and a little patience, I’ll catch on quickly. What would make me happiest? A home with a big yard to run and play Daily walks and exercise Fun activities and mental stimulation A family willing to keep teaching me the ropes I’m still a young dog, which means I’m adaptable, eager to learn, and full of potential. With the right family by my side, I’m going to be the bestest boy! Now all I need is someone willing to give me the chance to prove it!   Neutered, microchipped, Heartworm & Lyme Negative, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Adoption fee is $100   If you are interested in meeting and adopting, please submit an application here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/application-to-adopt-a-dog Once submitted, staff will review your application during open hours. Please allow 24-36 hours for a response. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet & greet! Any other dogs in the home must come along and some dogs may require all family members to come as well! If it's a match, you can your new dog home the same day. We do offer a 2 week foster to adopt trial time, to be sure the chosen pet is a good fit, before finalizing the adoption!    See all of our adoptable pets here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/adoptable-dogs-and-cats   Adoption Hours: Monday & Saturday 11am-4pm | Tuesday & Friday 11am-5pm | Wednesday 11am-6pm  | Thursday & Sunday CLOSED ##2683508##

Story
Hi friends! My name is Reaper and I am about 2.5 years old! I am a friendly boy that is excited to find my furever home! I'm a very curious dog so don't expect me to interact right away, I just like to take in my environment which includes smelling all the new smells. As soon as I am done checking out my surroundings I will definitely love to play! I like to play tug the most but watch your arms because I'm not very coordinated and have been known to accidently get people on the arms (no worries I let go right away) I don't have an aggressive bone in my body and don't mind if you take food or toys from me (a bad habit so don't just take things but if its something I'm not supposed to have you are safe to take it from me) I will need to work on my manners but no worries I am highly treat motivated. I'm a fun guy to take out and walk so grab a leash and learn a little more about me!Give the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me! If not, stop by the shelter at 1048 S 325 E in Pierceton, IN 46562 to look at me! No appointments necessary!

Story
Just one look at this guy and you can't help but wonder why he was given the name Chicken? We do not have a clue. He is a senior guy looking for a home to spend out the later years of his life with all the comforts that a loving home will provide. Chicken still has a good amount of energy, but at the end of the day, he would simply prefer to curl up in your favorite chair, if you will let him, or a plush dog bed. He would do best with older children and a quieter lifestyle since that is what he had in his prior home. Come meet this guy and check out his big soulful eyes. Story
They do not come more irresistible than our Poppy! She will surely pop her way right into your heart. She is young, vibrant, and ready to go to her new home. This boxer mix is working on her basic obedience skills and doggie manners. She has met some dog friends, but tends to be very dog selective. Due to her energy and enthusiasm Poppy would do better with older children only 12+, and a secure fenced yard.DOB 11/10/23 40 Pounds and GrowingI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes.
