Hi, hi! I'm Athena and I am 3.5 years old! I am a sweet girl that can be a little shy when you first meet me, but once you get to know me, I warm up pretty quickly especially if you have treats handy! I am a relatively calm dog, so I would make a great family companion! I am pretty dog friendly, but I prefer my doggy siblings to have a calmer nature as well. Cats and I just aren't pals, so I would prefer a home without them, but I do really well with kiddos! OH I forgot to mention that I LOVE peanut butter! Peanut butter is life. I am an easy walker on the leash, and I know some commands too! I can't wait to find my furever family. He is a senior guy looking for a home to spend out the later years of his life with all the comforts that a loving home will provide. Chicken still has a good amount of energy, but at the end of the day, he would simply prefer to curl up in your favorite chair, if you will let him, or a plush dog bed. Meet Chewy!  He is just over a year old, 56#  and an American Pitbull Terrier mix. Chewy is friendly, playful & loving! He has the sweetest squishy face! Chewy loves his people and wants to be in your company!  Chewy has been working on his manners while here with us and does listen when he should. He is willing to learn and loves treats! Chewy does know sit and learning to stay down.  He previously lived with kids and did good with them! Chewy did also live with another dog, but they had issues with resource guarding food with each other. If there are any other dogs in the home, they will need to be kept separate from each other at feeding time and any remaining food picked up, when not being supervised. Chewy will need kept on a routine/schedule for potty training. He enjoys going for walks and does pretty well on a leash.    His adoption fee is $100. Meet Harper! She is about 1 year old, weighs in at 53# and is an American Pitbull Terrier mix. Harper came in to us as a stray, so we don't have any background info on her. She walks good on a leash and is mostly potty trained. Needs to be on a schedule/routine to help her get all the way there!  We expect she will do fine with kids as she is well behaved and has a good demeanor.  We have not yet cat tested her, but can do so upon request.   Spayed, heartworm negative, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention.
