Story
Hey there… I’m Brutus! I’m a 1 year old, 59 lb Boxer/APBT mix with a handsome face and a big, happy personality to match! I came to the shelter because my owner joined the military and could no longer keep me. Now I’m just waiting for my next family to come along. I'm a friendly and social guy. I love meeting people and getting attention! Here’s a little more about me: Playful and full of energy Crate trained Mostly potty trained I’ve lived with a cat before, but I’ll be honest… I like to play rough and like to chase them when they run. Because of that, I’d probably do best without them or living with a playful or confident cat who won’t mind telling me to knock it off. I seem to do well with other dogs and we expect I’d do just fine with respectful kids too.   Since I’m still young, I’m learning my manners. Sometimes when I get excited, I might jump up to say hello. I’m not trying to be rude… I just get really happy to see people! With a little guidance and consistency, I’ll have that figured out in no time. I’m also mostly potty trained. I’ve had the occasional accident, but with a regular routine and a little patience, I’ll catch on quickly. What would make me happiest? A home with a big yard to run and play Daily walks and exercise Fun activities and mental stimulation A family willing to keep teaching me the ropes I’m still a young dog, which means I’m adaptable, eager to learn, and full of potential. With the right family by my side, I’m going to be the bestest boy! Now all I need is someone willing to give me the chance to prove it!   Neutered, microchipped, Heartworm & Lyme Negative, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Adoption fee is $100   If you are interested in meeting and adopting, please submit an application here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/application-to-adopt-a-dog Once submitted, staff will review your application during open hours. Please allow 24-36 hours for a response. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet & greet! Any other dogs in the home must come along and some dogs may require all family members to come as well! If it's a match, you can your new dog home the same day. We do offer a 2 week foster to adopt trial time, to be sure the chosen pet is a good fit, before finalizing the adoption!    See all of our adoptable pets here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/adoptable-dogs-and-cats   Adoption Hours: Monday & Saturday 11am-4pm | Tuesday & Friday 11am-5pm | Wednesday 11am-6pm  | Thursday & Sunday CLOSED ##2683508##

Story
Hi friends! My name is Reaper and I am about 2.5 years old! I am a friendly boy that is excited to find my furever home! I'm a very curious dog so don't expect me to interact right away, I just like to take in my environment which includes smelling all the new smells. As soon as I am done checking out my surroundings I will definitely love to play! I like to play tug the most but watch your arms because I'm not very coordinated and have been known to accidently get people on the arms (no worries I let go right away) I don't have an aggressive bone in my body and don't mind if you take food or toys from me (a bad habit so don't just take things but if its something I'm not supposed to have you are safe to take it from me) I will need to work on my manners but no worries I am highly treat motivated. I'm a fun guy to take out and walk so grab a leash and learn a little more about me!Give the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me! If not, stop by the shelter at 1048 S 325 E in Pierceton, IN 46562 to look at me! No appointments necessary!

Story
Meet Bennie—a sweet, sensitive soul who is learning to trust the world one step at a time. At 3 years old, Bennie may be shy at first, but he’s been opening up more each day, and his progress has been wonderful to see. With gentle support and the right environment, Bennie truly shines—he even did great in our canine playgroups! Bennie is vaccinated, microchipped, and looking for a calm, patient home where his adopter will respect his pace and help him continue building confidence. A quiet household without young children would be ideal, giving Bennie the time and space he needs to feel safe and secure.

Story
Hey everyone! Meet rei! Rei came to us as a stray from the shelter and was critically ill. She was 30 lbs under weight with a stomach full of foreign material and her bloodwork was at critical levels. Our vet was not sure Rei was going to make it in the beginning. With an amazing foster and a top notch vet here we are today!! Rei is a survivor with the most loyal heart. She adores all people, big and small. She's good with other dogs, but they may not like her boundless energy and rough and rowdy play. Another rowdy player would be an ideal sibling for her. Rei loves toys and can play all day! She's treat motivated to go to her crate. She is crate trained and keeps it clean. Rei knows sit, paw, down and no, and is potty trained. She is strong so somebody who can teach her some good leash manners would be wonderful!I She behaves a lot like a typical boxer mix with high energy, so sweet and wiggly, and a huge goofball. She is so grateful for everything. If you talk to her she wants to give you lovins back, which could knock a smaller child over, so she'd do best with older children. She is good with my grandkids, who are 10 and 8. Rei can climb a chain link fence so she will require a privacy type fence or an electric fence! Rei is about 6 yrs old and weighs about 60 lbs. Adoption donation fee is $150 which it is tax-deductible and goes towards the care of homeless pets with Unchained Souls Canine Rescue. To expedite the adoption process you can send us a message at Unchained Souls Canine Rescue on Facebook to request an application or you can email us at unchainedsoulscaninerescue@yahoo.com and we will happily send you one! All Unchained Souls Canine Rescue animals are fully vetted: *Spayed/Neutered *Shots updated *Micro-chipped *Heart-worm checked and on prevention *On Flea and Tick Prevention You only need to see your vet for a “meet n greet” of your new family member and to turn in their medical records.

Story
We have had Kona for a couple of months now, she has been such a cuddle bug and loyal dog. She needs some training for aggression, we just do not have the time and or resources to put this into her unfortunately. She gets along really well with our dominant resident dog, she does well with our cats as well. She loves fiercely. We have recently come into a situation of keeping our nephew for an unknown amount of time, she does not do well with children. I believe she could with the right training and time put in. She is goofy, spunky, energetic but also very relaxed. She loves to cuddle and play. We want to make sure she is going to a home capable of helping her through her struggles so she can enjoy her life.

Story
Hi guys, I’m Titus! 🐾I’m only 11 months old, which means I’ve got lots of playful puppy energy and plenty of love to give. I’d say I’m a pretty handsome dude too — but I’ll let you be the judge when you come meet me!I’m a super sweet and friendly guy who loves being around people. Big people, little people… I’m happy with them all! I also get along really well with other animals, so I’d probably fit right into a home that already has some furry friends. I’m also house broken, so I already know the basics and am ready to settle right into a home!I love to play, explore, and soak up all the attention I can get. Whether it’s running around the yard, going for walks, or just hanging out getting pets, I’m always ready to be part of the fun. After a good play session, I’m more than happy to settle down and enjoy some cuddles too.I came in with my big sister Daisy, and she’s been my built-in best friend. I would absolutely love to go home with her—but it’s not a must! As long as I find a loving family, I’ll be one happy guy.We are currently only taking applications for Titus until he is neutered. If you’re looking for a young, fun, and loving companion to grow up with your family, I might just be your guy. Come meet me and see if we’re the perfect match! ❤️🐶
