Hi new friends, my name is Nala. I'm sure you can see that I'm quite skinny. I came to MHS weighing 39-pounds. The humans told me that I'm the most incredible girl because even being this skinny, all I want is love and attention. If I am able to curl around in your arms, I will hang out there and soak up all the love. Let's chat about my weight really quick then we'll talk about fun stuff...other than needing to gain weight and have a few sores heal, I am in pretty good shape. I'll need my adopter to feed my smaller, more frequent meals that are higher in calories until my weight goal has been met. I love to play fetch with squeaky toys. I bring them back to you and wait patiently for you to toss them for me. I take treats gently like the good girl that I am. I know how to sit politely and I am a food-motivated gal! I'm sure I'll learn whatever you want to teach me. I always enjoy the ride if I get to go with you in the car somewhere. I'm an adorable shotgun rider. Just imagine me in your front seat looking all adorable! Tennis balls and Kongs are a couple other of my favorite toys. Daily walkies make me happy. I have lived with kiddos about 10ish and up before and I did well with them. I'm still meeting other pets at the shelter. Once the humans observe my behavior, they will let you know. Could you check back? They're giving me a little extra time to acclimate given I wasn't feeling the best when I first arrived. I have done well in my crate in my previous home and I also did not cause any trouble when I was left by myself. But, don't forget, I'm happiest around people. The humans at MHS tell me how perfect and pretty I am. I hope that helps me get adopted and find my family. I am about six years old and I'm spayed. Love, Nala.

Hi, my name is Echo! I'm an action packed social butterfly in a small body. I love any thing and everything squeaky and treat related. I'm fine with cats and I love kids of any age! When I want to play with you, I prance my happy dance. I also love to play with other dogs, but sometimes I get too bitey.  My foster mom says I'm easy to redirect though! I love to cuddle and sleep with my foster family at night. I'm still working on house training, but I've only had a few accidents here and there since arriving at my foster moms house.I am scared of the crate though. When the door is shut I shake and howl, it really freaks me out and makes me anxious. I need someone who is patient to help me learn that the crate isn't a scary place. My foster mom says I haven't met anyone yet that I haven't liked. I do like to put things in my mouth, but she says I can be easily redirected with that as well. I'm still a young, adolscent puppy who would benefit from working with one of the trainers that the rescue recommends! I would love a house with some kids or another dog to play with! I love my foster home, but I can't wait to have a home I can call my forever home.
