Hello everyone, meet Rocky! This chunky monkey came to Woodford Humane looking for his second chance after his human passed away. If you are looking for a dog who is out of the puppy stage but not yet to lazy senior, Rocky could be the perfect fit for you! While it would benefit him to lose a few pounds (to help his joints as he gets older) we don't suspect he'll want to be running any marathons. Rocky will be quite content to snuggle up on the couch after a good walk or a jaunt around the backyard. If you have another dog at home, we'd recommend bringing them out for a meet-and-greet prior to adoption, just to make sure everyone can get along! Does Rocky sound like the perfect fit for you? Dani is a sweet, wonderful dog. She is well trained and energetic. She loves to cuddle on pillows with her loved ones. Dani came from a chaotic foster home and is very food insecure and scared of other animals. This is our reason for having to surrender her. She attacked our other dog over her food dish. I would not recommend her around other animals between her fear and high prey drive.

Sweet, loving dog looking for a forever family. She is gentle and patient with babies/children. Follows simple demands and is able to be off leash, coming back on demand. Is crate trained and good with other animals. Was left to us and we are unable to keep her and care for her but wish to find a good home for such a good dog. She’s some kind of pit mix but we’re unsure of what she’s mixed with. A relatively smaller dog with such a big heart. Has never been aggressive.
