He’s amazing in public and adapts beautifully to new situations, making him an all-around perfect companion. He’s vocal and loves to “talk” to you, especially if you’re a woman — he’ll happily become your shadow, following you everywhere with love and loyalty. This sweet guy has so much personality: he gets zoomies in the backyard, howls like a husky, loves car rides, and has a hilarious obsession with salami. Hello everyone, meet Rocky! This chunky monkey came to Woodford Humane looking for his second chance after his human passed away. If you are looking for a dog who is out of the puppy stage but not yet to lazy senior, Rocky could be the perfect fit for you! While it would benefit him to lose a few pounds (to help his joints as he gets older) we don't suspect he'll want to be running any marathons. Rocky will be quite content to snuggle up on the couch after a good walk or a jaunt around the backyard. I rescued sweet Cassius from the streets at 4 months old. Even though I rescued to her from a bad situation I have not been able to give her the social interaction and the exercise she needs as my schedule is just too hectic. I really want her to have a home where she has more exercise and hopefully other dogs with which to interact. I have no reason to think she is not good with other dogs or kids and the like but at the same time I cannot say for sure that she is because she has had such limited interaction with other animals and no interaction with children. As sweet as she is its hard to imagine she would be a problem for any living thing on Earth.
