Story
Meet Squidward! He doesn't play the clarinet, but he will happily listen to music with you! Although like squidward; he doesn't care for hugs. He does love to go on walks and hang out with people though! This dude is rough and tumble, wild child, and all around a good guy! He can be strong on leash, needs to work on some more basic manners, but he does know sit and paw! He's goofy, fun-loving, and adventure seeking! Due to him not knowing his size, Squidward is looking for a home with kids over the age of 5! We also are recommending a home without kitties; he may think they are a little too fun to chase!Interested in meeting Squidward? Come on down with the whole family (Including future dog siblings)!

Story
Hey there, I'm Max!Hey there, I'm Max!I'm a snuggly boy who LOVES belly rubs! I love to play especially with balls and stuffies!I can take a little while to warm up to new people, but once I'm comfortable with you, you are my BFF! The way to my heart is definitely snacks! One of my absolute favorites is freeze dried beef liver, but I'm willing to explore other tasty treats!Rest assured, though. There are other ways to my heart. I like a good booty scratch session more than most and a neck massage once we are good friends. Need to get some computer work done? I'm you're guy as you can see from the picture. Are you someone who is willing to butter me up? Stop by KVHS during adoption hours and meet me today!

Story
Meet King!True to his name; this big guy likes to rule the roost! His big jug head has no thoughts except "Walk, play, bounce." Bounce, you ask? Ya, this guy thinks he's part kangaroo and we don't have the heart to tell him different. He can easily jump straight up 5-6ft from a stand still! King loves EVERYONE he meets; he has not met any strangers; only friends he doesn't know yet. He has been working on some training here, though! From learning not everyone wants a big dog right in their face, to not contending in weight pull with humans, he will need someone as strong headed as he is to help him focus enough to learn! Although, if you were looking for a dog to do any type of weigh pull sports with; consider King! Now let's talk King's ideal home! This beef cake is looking for a home with children over the age of 16; not because he's aggressive, but because he doesn't understand his size and might accidentally full send it into a little kid. He also has a high prey drive, a small little furry thing makes an awesome chase toy! He's looking for a home without small animals and cats. As for dogs, King can be dog selective. He has taken better to submissive females! He does not like intact males.Interested in meeting this handsome guy? Swing on down to KVHS during available adoption hours!

Story
Do you like to toss tennis balls until your arm's goes numb? Throw frisbee's until you get dizzy? What about rough and tumble play ohhh! don't forget the slobber! If you're okay with the last 4 inevitable circumstances then I'm your wild child. Thor Is the life of the party here at KVHS! He's always up for a game of fetch, tug of war and a nice long walk. Although I do need to learn some basic leash manners as well as not jumping on people when i see them. These are things I'm learning and I'm eager to learn with the right incentive. Thor is food motivated so that has been the best way to help him absorb new things. Since Thor has a hard time maintaining his excitement, food / rawhide possessive, including some mouthy (puppy) behavior he is no children under the age of 12 for everyone's safety. He is okay with cat's and absolutely willing to meeting dog friends! So please make sure to bring in all household members including the dogs to meet me! I'll be available at KVHS during opening hours and don't forget the party doesn't start until I walk into your life!!!! - Thor
