Story
I am looking to find a good home with a nice yard and lots of love! I currently am in a situation where i can not give my full attention to Bambi and provide her with everything she needs. Bambi is a very loving and sweet doggie. She loves anything outside, fluffy toys, tug of war and most of all fetch. Bambi does not know what personal space is, she wants to be in your skin and then some lol :) Bambi is the best cuddler, she loves to sleep by your feet under but under the blankets at all times. She is good with kids but is very hyper so it may seem like too she’s doing too much. She does have a bit of a jumping problem but she knows how to listen, sometimes lol…Overall Bambi is the perfect family dog and loves other animals including cats. She can be a bit skiddish at times but she’ll warm up quick.

Story
At Christmas time, holiday tinsel is one of the best ways to spruce up your home with some cheer and festivity; but wouldn't it be great to have some of that same tinsel cheer for the whole year? I'm pretty sure that's where I got the name, because that's exactly what I do! I think it's pretty safe to say we all love the gifting aspect of the holiday season, and I am no exception. As you can see from the video, I love toys! Personally, my favorite aspect of every day, is quality time spent together. I am full of that "in front of the fireplace" warmth that is the highlight of the season...or really any season. Snuggling in the laps of all my friends, giving kisses, joy, and laughs every day of the year would be a dream come true! While I can appreciate some kitty-time snuggles, I am much more apt to be in my person's lap cuddling, but I am happy to share a home with a feline friend. I would be happiest in a home with older children that can handle my occasional puppy-like playstyle (that...and I can be a little vocal and pushy about my need for attention sometimes). I would love to have a doggy playmate, but I do need proper introductions with dogs, as I am dog selective. Being dog selective means that I have made several canine friends, but much like humans, I don't care to be friends with every dog I meet. Any potential fur siblings will get the chance to meet me for a play date before I go home, to make sure we get along as well as ribbons and bows! If you would like a little bit of every-day Christmas magic in your home, submit an adoption application to the website below, and I promise to decorate your heart and home with all my love! DOB: 2/6/2020 For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas. Please fill out our online adoption survey at www.mackenzies.info/adopt/adoption-survey-application/

Story
Meet Mazi May — a fun-loving puppy with a sweet personality and a whole world of adventures ahead of her! 💕 At around 5–6 months old, Mazi May is still very much a puppy and will need continued work on all the basic puppy skills including potty training, leash manners, and learning the routines of home life. She’s a smart girl who is eager to learn and ready to soak up all the guidance, consistency, and love her future family can offer. Like any young puppy, Mazi May will thrive with patience, structure, positive reinforcement, and plenty of enrichment to help her grow into the best companion possible. 🐾 Mazi May is sweet, curious, and always ready for her next adventure — whether that’s exploring the outdoors, going for walks, playing with toys, or curling up after a long day of fun. She’s looking for a family ready to embrace all the joy, laughter, and occasional chaos that comes with raising a puppy, and in return she’ll give endless love and companionship. -Around 5-6 months old -Currently under 40lbs -Good with kids, cats and dogs -Adoption fee: $225 This dog is currently housed at our shelter. Story
Fern Fern is a Female Boxer mix DOB: November of 2025 Adoption fee: $200 I know I look serious in my photo, but I really am just a wiggle butt! If you know Boxers, then you know about the wiggle butt and that’s what I have! I wiggle while I eat, and I wiggle with a toy in my mouth, I wiggle when I walk. (I do have a full tail). I am a little bashful and need a little confidence building. In a home with consistency in my routine and training, I should gain the confidence I need to be the best friend you’ve ever had. Pending observed interaction, I should do well with children 8 years and older. Pending a meet and greet, I may match with another dog. I have not been tested with a cat, but if properly introduced to cats, I adapt fine. I have not been on a leash at this time and would do my best with a physically fenced yard. I may require it pending your previous experience, location or other plans for containment. I am a very nice pup with lots of potential. I just need a family to help reach that potential.

Story
Meet Josie! Josie is a 1.5-year-old, 35lb Pittie mix with a bright, happy personality. She is housebroken, crate trained, and knows basic obedience. Josie is an outgoing girl, but not overwhelming, and she has an impressive vertical jump (which is why she requires a privacy fence) and she’s currently working on greeting people with a polite sit. Josie lives with many other dogs in her foster home, but she has shown us there are some things she does not like to share .. such as her humans’ affection. Which is why she is labelled as needing to be an only pet in the home. She also has some prey drive toward cats and squirrels and is still learning better leash manners. Josie came to us from a small rural shelter in South Carolina. She has been thriving in her foster home and is a fun mix of adventure and snuggle partner. Black Dog Syndrome is very real, add to that she is also a pittie mix and needing to be an only dog and we know we are looking for a one in a million adopter. We know there is the perfect family or person out there who will appreciate her lust for life and sweet, loving, and loyal nature. Josie is looking for: • A home where she is the only pet • Someone who enjoys an active dog with a zest for life, but also a good cuddle Adoption Info: We adopt and transport throughout much of the United States.
