Story
At Christmas time, holiday tinsel is one of the best ways to spruce up your home with some cheer and festivity; but wouldn't it be great to have some of that same tinsel cheer for the whole year? I'm pretty sure that's where I got the name, because that's exactly what I do! I think it's pretty safe to say we all love the gifting aspect of the holiday season, and I am no exception. As you can see from the video, I love toys! Personally, my favorite aspect of every day, is quality time spent together. I am full of that "in front of the fireplace" warmth that is the highlight of the season...or really any season. Snuggling in the laps of all my friends, giving kisses, joy, and laughs every day of the year would be a dream come true! While I can appreciate some kitty-time snuggles, I am much more apt to be in my person's lap cuddling, but I am happy to share a home with a feline friend. I would be happiest in a home with older children that can handle my occasional puppy-like playstyle (that...and I can be a little vocal and pushy about my need for attention sometimes). I would love to have a doggy playmate, but I do need proper introductions with dogs, as I am dog selective. Being dog selective means that I have made several canine friends, but much like humans, I don't care to be friends with every dog I meet. Any potential fur siblings will get the chance to meet me for a play date before I go home, to make sure we get along as well as ribbons and bows! If you would like a little bit of every-day Christmas magic in your home, submit an adoption application to the website below, and I promise to decorate your heart and home with all my love! DOB: 2/6/2020 For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas. Please fill out our online adoption survey at www.mackenzies.info/adopt/adoption-survey-application/

Story
Much like Anakin Skywalker, the force is strong with me. For real....I am a beefcake! Don't worry, I have not gone to the dark side, a lot of my beefcakiness is put to use holding my bed down. But anyone who is foolish enough to underestimate my strength and challenge me to a tug game will get a taste of the true chosen one! I am a fun-loving good boy; but it is fair to say there is a bit of puppy escapade inside me at times. Practicing the righteous ways of the Jedi has been an amazing pastime for me to keep me on the light side. I love going for walks through the galaxy (really, it's been the scenic grounds at MAS, but a guy can dream right?). With continued Padawan training from an Obi-Wan Kenobi of my own, we can harness the force to positive outlets for me! Which honestly, I am so treat and reward motivated that with consistency, I am sure I could be a Jedi in no time! I am a fairly sociable guy, I have made some canine friends here at MAS, and when I met a cat I was more interested in playing with my rope toy than befriending it. "The biggest problem in the universe is no one helps each other." - Anakin (Star Wars: The Phantom Menace) If you would like to help Anakin by giving him a forever home, submit your adoption application to the website below! Story
3year old purebred boxer. Great with one other dog in the home. If you have multiple other dogs within the home she isnt the best fit for you as she is reactive with multiple other dogs. She is good with cats but does tend to chase until she's familiar with the cat. We recently lost our elderly male boxer and she had extreme separation anxiety being alone. So, ideally she would do best with a family who is home often or has ONE other dog in the home as a companion. She is potty trained and up to date on vaccines. She does require a lot of exercise and attention. She loves playing ball. Would need some training on new property on where she is allowed and isn't but does well without a fenced yard at our home.

Story
Meet Rocky  Rocky is a 3-year-old male Boxer mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for his people. He’s a true people pleaser who enjoys snuggling on the couch just as much as he loves playing with his toys. Rocky would thrive with an active family that enjoys playtime and including their dog in daily activities. While he wasn’t well socialized with other dogs early on and can lack confidence around them, he will do best with a family that understands his needs and is willing to continue working on building his confidence at his pace. He does well with cats, enjoys kids, and is both house-trained and crate-trained, making him a great fit for a home ready to welcome a loving companion. With patience, structure, and encouragement, Rocky will continue to grow into the confident, happy dog he’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a loyal buddy who will happily play hard and snuggle harder, Rocky could be your perfect match.     ##1717464##

Story
My name is Lillian (aka Lilly) and I am a very sweet 5-6 year old American Bully. I am hoping to find my forever home where I can lay on the couch and play with my balls (I love toys). In my down time I love to go for walks, although I do pull when walking. I love people and get a little too excited, which causes me to jump. I am working on this bad habit and promise to try really hard if you remind me. I do need a home where I am an only pet. While I do not look for trouble and am not reactive, I do not like other dogs in my face and get a little agitated. If you are looking for a "pocket Bully" I am your girl. Story
Introducing Dakota. A 10 month old terrier mix, around 40lbs, and fully vetted! New to rescue but here’s what we have learned so far….🦴 Good with other dogs, he does love to play🦴 Good with cats🦴 Good with young kids, he will jump on adults but hasn’t jumped on the kid in the house and is gentle with him.🦴 Does good in a crate hasn’t chewed the bed and is quiet. He is still a young pup who has spent his young life in the shelter. He does need to work on not jumping up for attention and most typical young pup behavior but he definitely loves people! Please check out our adoption process & on-line application here: https://www.newhopepetrescue.com/Adoption Fee for dogs cover the following vetting:1.
