Meet Aurora! She is a 5 year old boxer/lab mix. She is 55 lbs. In these 5 years she has been an amazing dog. Sadly, my living situation and hours at work have changed and I can’t give her the time and life she deserves. She is house trained, fixed, has all her shots and has enough flea/tick/heartworm medicine till the end of the year. She loves to run around and play but also loves to sit right on your feet and be close. She has only been around 1 kid and did fine. She often will get along with other dogs but she has had issues with some as well. I have found that it depends on how they are introduced. Looking for someone to love her as I do and give her a happy home.

3-year-old Boxer. Bruno is a big, energetic boy with a goofy personality and lots of love to give. He loves playing tug-of-war, destroying squeaky toys, and keeping everyone entertained with his hilarious “crazy eyes” and boxer attitude. His favorite toy is the XL Kong Wubba because it actually survives longer than most toys. He is housebroken, crate-trained, microchipped, and currently up to date on vaccines. He does well with kids, although I’m unsure how he would do around toddlers. Bruno would do best in a home where he is the only dog. He is very dominant and does not typically get along with other dogs. He has a habit of jumping fences, so he will need a secure yard with a tall fence. Despite his stubborn side, he is a really good dog. He sleeps in the bedroom with us every night (usually sprawled out on the floor because he’s too big for the bed).Reach out if you think Bruno might be a good fit for your family.

While he may need a little time to come out of his shell, Pugsley is full of love and ready to bond with someone special. He's looking for a peaceful, cat-free (and chicken-free!) home where he can feel safe and secure. With a bit of patience and a lot of love, Pugsley is sure to become a loyal and affectionate companion.   As a long term resident, his adoption fee is discounted to $50! DOB 12-17-2020. - Hutch is a very good boy with quite the story. After being adopted, he became well-known when he went missing for over three months before being found skinny and injured. Now safely back with us, Hutch is getting the care he needs, including surgery to repair his leg, and will be looking for a foster home during his recovery and a forever home after. Hutch is great with kids and loves his people, but he will need a home with no cats or other dogs, as he can be particular about his canine friends. He is also a bit of a Houdini escape artist, so a secure setup and attentive family are a must. With the right home, Hutch will be a loyal, loving companion ready to leave his wandering days behind. Hutch just had surgery on his hip and is in a medical foster. Please call the shelter to coordinate meeting his sweet guy!

Marshmallow is a 4 1/2 year old female pitbull. She is spayed and house trained. She was crate trained as a puppy but has not used one in a couple of years. She was found at about 8 weeks old in a fast food parking lot. She has grown up with kids and loves to play. She walks on a leash but does pull some, however she is very smart so with a little bit of training she would figure it out. Marshmallow usually gets a bit excited when new people come over but will calm down after a few minutes and she does not jump on people. Over all she has a good temperament. She gets scared of people wearing sunglasses and hats and does not like sprinklers or hoses but will take a bath with no problem. Marshmallow plays well with other dogs but has never been around cats.
