Story
We have a special boy to introduce to the families and couples out there wanting a truly special older pup that is totally trained and waiting to love you to pieces. True Blue Toby is a 10 month old Boxer mix puppy that was found as a stray and not in the best shape.  In fact he looked terrible and we felt so bad for this boy to have suffered for so many months.  Once he came to our care we got to work on clearing up hair loss and getting him healthy from those pesky intestinal worms and putting good weight on him.  Gosh Toby is the best boy with a wonderful personality that embraces everyone with love and the anticipation to become steadfast friends.  Shy at first, this boy has blossomed and is Mr. Outgoing in every way.  He just wants to hang out with his humans and love them with full gratitude for making him such a healthy boy.  Housebroken, crate trained and wonderful with other dogs and cats, he is the truly total package if you are looking for a medium sized dog.  He is going to be a 50 pound adult and what a handsome Boxer mix boy he is turning in to.   Email us at Critter Cavalry Rescue :   ccrnewengland@gmail.com   We know will be glad you considered this boy as your very own. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 19, 2024, 10:52 pm

Story
Sweet Rosie girl was found as a stray. The woman who found her tried desperately to find her owner but to no avail. We believe she was dumped, as it is very common here in the south. The woman brought her here to the rescue and she is doing extremely well with all the dogs and puppies and even like the cats and the children who visit. We believe she is approximately 5 months. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and she is also crate trained. She is full of energy and would do very well with a house full of kids! She appears to be a Boxer/Hound mix of some sort, pretty much a Super Mutt! Wouldn't you love to add her to your family? She will be ready for transport by the middle of May PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $650

Story
Beautiful Benjamin dreams of finding a loving & patient home he can grow in! His foster family has really enjoyed watching him settle into their home. They report he has some great basic training under his belt. potty trainedcrate trainedknows sit, down & comesleeps thru the night Benjamin is all the things we LOVE about older puppies! He’s still got that goofy puppy demeanor but without the shoe stealing and midnight potty runs Just like all rescue dogs, he is PERFECTLY imperfect. Benjamin would LOVE some help building his confidence in the outside world. He loves being home with his foster family and fits right in, but sometimes the outside world and meeting new people, can be a little scary for Benjamin.  This boy has already made so much progress and did incredible at his first brewery outing during our event last weekend! He did great, even with lots of strangers coming right up to him, he also was very interested in sniffing butts with all the other dogs there!  So what is Benny’s perfect home you may wonder? We would love to find him a home with another chill & confident dog. He has been fostered with many other dogs and does well learning from them. A more quiet home would be best, so that Benjamin can take his time to settle in.  He would love to attend doggy daycare, go for hikes, and just cuddle with his people This is a GREAT dog that has been overlooked, because no one has taken the time to give him a chance. We know his people are out there! Story
Introducing Raspberry, but you can call her Razz – the fun-loving furball ready to brighten up ALL your days Kids? Niece and nephew-approved, so you know I’m great with the tiny humans.  Other dogs? Heck yeah! I’m a social butterfly and I even rock playtime with a big pup who’s 87 pounds of fun! Nighttime routine? You’ll find me cozying up in my crate, and I’m cool with chillin’ in there during the day, too.  Potty training? Pretty solid – I’ll let you know when nature calls, but sometimes I get a tad too excited and oopsies happen.  Car rides? A breeze!  Leash manners? Working on it, but I’ve got style carrying my pink leash like a boss. Tricks? I’ve mastered the art of sitting, and I’m itching to learn more – throw ‘em at me!  Energy level? I’m a solid medium, so I’m game for walks and playdates to keep the good times rolling but I’m also a certified snuggle expert, ready to dish out kisses and hugs whenever you need ‘em.  And toys? Don’t get me started – tennis balls are my jam!   So, who’s up for adding a sprinkle of Razzle-Dazzle to their life?” Her rescue story : This GAL was dumped at a large municipal shelter as a tiny baby at 7 weeks old as a owner surrender bc of a minor bite . Just crazy ... bc she's a tiny + very sweet puppy. These are huge issues in the southern states, and it's so unfair to the dogs that are being brought into this world and set up for failure. 6 months // 25 +lbsgood with KidsDog Friendly (loves to play) Crate Trained snuggle buddyspayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped _________________fostered in Peabody - APPLY TODAY please remember we are all volunteers &  incomplete applications will not be processed Apply to FOSTER or ADOPT today & get approved to bring a dog home. Story
Snoopy is a shy young pup with impressive ears! He came to us as a stray, so he is a bit nervous and reserved due to all the changes in his life.Once he is comfortable, he is a playful, bouncy guy who loves his people. He is looking for an adopter that will give him time to adjust to his newenvironment and keep his world small and controlled. He is still young so his adopter will need to puppy proof the house and work on his puppymanners. With appropriate management, Snoopy could live with another dog or a dog-savvy cat. And older kids with good shy-dog skills would alsowork. Are you interested in meeting Snoopy? If so, please visit us at the Methuen MSPCA location Tuesday-Sunday from 12PM-4:30PM.

Story
Meet young puppy Bocce. This is a happy go lucky guy with a lot of energy. He loves to entertain himself with toys and is really good walking on aleash. Oh, dont let that adorable face fool you. This puppy will requirea bit more training with polite greetings and to use that puppy mouthappropriately. Luckily, Bocce loves his snacks and will train for cookies. This good boy is looking to join a low traffic home with older kids only tohelp him become his best self. The best situation would be if he could livewith an older, patient dog that will teach him the ropes. Here at theshelter, he has enjoyed play dates with other dogs. We have no history ofwhat Bocce thinks of cats, so a dog-savvy cat would be a possibility.Does Bocce sound like the pup for you? If so, please head to the MethuenMSPCA location Tuesday-Sunday between the hours of 12PM-3PM!

Story
Meet Puffin! He is 8 months old and is ready for his new home! He can be worried in new situations and is looking for someone to give him time and space to feel cozy/comfortable but once he’s opened up, he gets excited easily and loves to play! While he and his adopters get to know each other, his bubble should be kept small and predictable. Additionally, his adopters should be prepared for all things puppy: housetraining, puppy-proofing, and working on fine-tuning his manners using a gentle approach. Any kids in the home should be old enough to give him space while he’s settling in, and to participate in training once he’s more comfortable in the home. Interested in adopting a dog?
