Clint AKA Atlas is as smart as he is handsome! He loves other dogs and does great in our large playgroups here at the shelter. He’s great on leash and rides well in cars. He is house broken and waiting patiently for his forever family!All puppies under 6 months are $200 and all dogs from 6 months to 6 years are $85.00 and up. The adoption fee is dependent on many factors including age, behavior, medical condition and demand. All dogs 7 years and older are free under our Saving Seniors program. We frequently run special and occasionally a dog will be more than the stated fee.Most cats and kittens are $35.00, however there may be instances in which the fee is higher or lower, due to age, behavior, medical condition or demand. With felines, we always have an ""Adopt one, bring another one home for free"" adoption special!

Loki is a high energy boxer/pit mix that's really friendly and wiggly even though he needs manners training. He has a bouncy lovable energy that will brighten anyone's day! He enjoys walks and getting lots of good snacks. He really enjoys kongs to keep him occupied during his down time. Loki does have a few quirks that may need some work, but we truly think he would make a loving companion for the right person. He has to be in a responsible adult only home because he has a history of significant barrier reactivity; which is a type of aggression that shows up across a fence line but vanishes when the fence is removed. He has lived with dogs and likes to play rough and rowdy and does well with most of our dogs here in playgroup. We will require a dog meet so we know he's compatible with your dog's playstyle. He has bit his prior owner in the hand twice (once near a doorway and once when breaking up a possible dog fight), but that wasn't why they surrendered him. His previous home did have children and he did very well with them. However, due to his bite history he must be placed in an adult only house. He comes with a requirement that Sarge's do a dog training session with you at your home on day 1. Additionally, to set Loki and you up for success, we urge any adopter to sign up for a group dog training/basic manners class! Contact information is provided in the description below.Cooper is a young Boxer/German Shepherd mix. He will be two years old in February of 2024. He is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. Cooper is goofy and loves to play with other dogs. He is OK with cats too. He loves people once he sniffs them and gets used to them. He is a very high energy dog.Cooper knows basic commands - sit, stay, and down. He does get excited and will jump on people but his owners are working on that. He loves to go on walks. He has been a house dog his entire life, and is crate trained and potty trained. In keeping with his handsome image, he goes to the groomer every month.Cooper would be the perfect dog for anyone who is active and has time to give him all the love he needs.
