Pepper is the definition of goofy!This happy guy recently arrived at FDHS with his buddy Salt (also available!), and he’s already become a favorite around the kennels. Pepper is still pretty new here, but he has wasted no time winning people over with his wiggly greetings, silly personality, and all-around good vibes.Pepper seems to think everyone is a potential best friend. He’s been a delight for our staff and is always ready to share a little sunshine wherever he goes.From what we’ve seen so far, Pepper could be a great fit for many different types of families. He’s friendly, affectionate, and has a personality that’s hard not to love. We’re still getting to know him more each day, but it’s safe to say this boy is ready to bring a lot of joy into someone’s life.Pepper is accepting adoption applications and is on the lookout for a forever home that’s ready for a whole lot of wiggles and love.

She absolutely adores people and happily soaks up every bit of attention she can get. June Bug doesn’t seem to mind other dogs either, but a meet and greet is still required to make sure everyone is a good fit.She’s housebroke, spayed, and up to date on her vaccines, so she’s more than ready to settle right into home life. June Bug came to us as a transfer from animal control, and now she’s hoping her next stop is her forever home.Her adoption fee is a monetary donation of your choice, because what matters most is finding her the loving home she deserves. All she’s asking for is a comfy couch, some loving humans, and of course unlimited pup cups along the way. 🐾If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who’s ready to spend her golden years by your side, June Bug is your girl. 💕An adoption application can be filled out on the DHS website https://www.dekalbhumanesociety.org/adopt. Bonanza is a 6mth old neutered male Boxer mixed puppy. He currently weighs around 40 lbs. He was pulled from our local shelter. Bonanza is a healthy , happy and friendly puppy. He is enjoying his time here at the rescue but he would really love a home and family to call his own. He is moderate energy with a wonderful temperament. He can't wait to meet his forever family. We are unsure if he is house trained. He has been great with other dogs and children. He is up to date on shots and wormed. He is already neutered. The adoption fee is $250. He is fine with other dogs and older children. He might be to much for real little children. He is up to date on shots and wormed. He is already neutered. The adoption fee is $200.
