I’m… uh… a handsome guy, apparently. I didn’t smile for the camera today because—well—this is all a lot. Crowds are scary. Cameras are scary. The shelter is scary. 😟 I’m very shy and I tend to stand close to you because you make me feel safe. I kind of look to my person for protection, like, “Is this okay? Are we good?” My eyes might look sad right now, but that’s just because I haven’t found my place yet. I’m hoping—very quietly—that someone kind will see me, take me home, and help me learn that the world isn’t so scary after all. He’ll need soft food, lots of TLC, and he will be having his teeth examined soon to help him feel more comfortable. Despite his hardships, Somersault greets the world with a wagging tail, bright eyes, and a heart full of hope. He’s incredibly friendly, joyful, and ready to love anyone who gives him the chance.
