I’m… uh… a handsome guy, apparently. I didn’t smile for the camera today because—well—this is all a lot. Crowds are scary. Cameras are scary. The shelter is scary. 😟 I’m very shy and I tend to stand close to you because you make me feel safe. I kind of look to my person for protection, like, “Is this okay? Are we good?” My eyes might look sad right now, but that’s just because I haven’t found my place yet. I’m hoping—very quietly—that someone kind will see me, take me home, and help me learn that the world isn’t so scary after all. Yes, he jumps — not out of defiance, but out of enthusiasm and love. When playtime ended and he was left alone, he cried and barked, clearly hoping for more time with his person.
