Boone is a 54 lbs Boxer mix.  He is friendly and seems to be ok with other dogs....he loves to play.  He will need to meet any new housemate prior to adoption being approved. Boone is around 1 yr old.  We do not know how he is with cats or children.  He keeps his kennel area clean for the most part but will have accidents on occasion. If you are interested in Boone please stop at the shelter to meet him and complete an application. 2-3 year old boxer mix, good with other dogs, not cat tested. Rhett came to us as an emaciated stray. it is suspected he was dumped. He loves people, loves car rides, listens well to correction, and wants to please. He's house broken, and doesn’t chew anything. He does like to take lots of naps! Love frozen peanut butter kongs and yogurt, banana and peanut butter frozen treats. He is very cuddly, love belly rubs, people and going on car rides. He enjoys playing with ball toys too! He has been very easy to teach new things, like sit, down, stay and rug! We are working on leash training now. He is very curious and wants more attention. He doesn’t like pouring rain and very windy days.

Rex came to us as an emaciated stray. it is suspected he was dumped.Rex is a bit more of a loner dog. listens well to correction, loving, playful. would need to meet other dogs to determine if they would mesh. Housetrained and knows basic commands. He doesn’t chew anything, he does like to take lots of naps! Loves frozen peanut butter kongs and yogurt, banana and peanut butter frozen treats. He is very cuddly, loves belly rubs, people and going on car rides. He enjoys playing with ball toys too! He has been very easy to teach new things, like sit, down, stay and rug! We're working on leash training now. Rex is laid back and likes to sleep under our bed. He just likes chilling. He doesn't like pouring rain and very windy days.

Story
This is Stanley. Stanley came to us in June, abandoned after his owner was evicted. Stanley is rarely asked about and we are eager to find him a loving home. He is the “eyes and ears” of the pound and a bit of a nark! If he can instigate and get someone in trouble, he will do it! Stanley can also jump a chain link fence and should not be left outside by himself. He has been dog selective while at the pound and as always, any kids or dogs in the home will need to come in for a meet and greet. Stanley is a curious, friendly guy and is getting impatient waiting for someone to choose him!
