Story
looking for a loving home for my 4-month-old Boxer puppy, born on June 28, 2025. He’s a bright, energetic little guy with a big personality and lots of love to give. He’s already had his first round of vaccinations and flea and tick prevention, and he’s been learning the basics like how to walk nicely on a leash and follow commands — he already knows sit and lay down! He’s still working on potty training and has the occasional accident indoors, but he’s doing great when taken outside regularly. After naps or crate time, he sometimes gets a burst of playful energy (the “zoomies”), which always brings a smile. He’s very playful and curious, loves having chew toys around, and is quickly turning into a loyal companion. With a little more time and attention, he’ll make an amazing family pet. Cooper currently lives in Macomb Township Michigan! I’m hoping to find someone who can give him the love, training, and playtime.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bio from rescuer: Please contact directly if you can assist with this sweet girl <3 Hello. This is Roxy. She goes by Roxy, Rox, or her favorite, ROXER! We took her in Xmas eve last minute, from her owner of 10+ years, who was going to put her down if he didn’t find a home due to “not having time for her anymore.” She is 13/14 years old. Boxer mix. She has a growth on her leg that her prev owner said was non cancerous and didn’t need to be removed, but it affects her walking to where she has a limp. She is such a sweet girl and would do good in a home w older or less hyper dogs. Or at least trained dogs! she just needs a good home! She’s still playful and very energetic! She enjoys lots of cuddles! Grew up around kids, dogs, and cats! ? She is also spayed and housebroken! She loves loves loves lots of cookies (aka dog treats haha). Located in Saginaw MI Please help me find this girl a great forever home. Story
Meet Zooma! Professional wiggle-butt. Olympic-level zoomie champion. Certified sweetheart.Zooma is a 2-year-old brindle Boxer–Mastiff mix with a heart as big as her paws and energy to match. True to her name, this girl is always ready to run, play, and zoom her way into your life. She’s currently learning “sit” (and is very proud of herself), but she’ll need a family committed to continuing her obedience training. Zooma shows her love enthusiastically—sometimes with happy jumps—so she’ll need help learning polite manners. Translation: she loves you a lot and sometimes forgets she’s not a lapdog.Zooma would do best with kids 10 and up, or younger kids who are experienced with larger, energetic dogs. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having canine buddies. Cats are a “maybe”—she can coexist, but supervision is recommended while everyone gets acquainted.Because this girl has energy to burn, a fenced-in yard is highly recommended so she can safely run, play, and get her daily dose of zoomies. If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy, active companion who will keep you laughing and moving, Zooma might just be your perfect match. Bonus: she comes with endless love, expressive eyes, and built-in cardio motivation. Ready to meet Zooma and keep up with her adventures? She’s ready to meet you!If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is Sponsored.

Story
***Lavender is in a foster home, so she is not at the kennel. If you are interested in her, please fill out the application at K9stray.com and we will be in touch. Thank you.*** Hi there! My name is Lavender, and I'm so excited to find my family. I'm a gorgeous, loving girl who is so sweet, you'll fall in love with me instantly! I am about 2 years old and weigh 31 pounds. I love to be close to you and receive lots of affection. Be it through cuddles or just spending time together, I'm a true sweet soul who craves closeness. Everyone tells me I am such a well-mannered, sweet girl with the cutest little white paws. I can be a little shy at first though and hesitant of new things. With quick, sudden movements I may cower, but then I seek you out for comfort and reassurance. I can be submissive too, but with an experienced leader I can rely on, I know I can get over my hurdles. My adopter needs to have the time and patience to help build my trust and confidence, but I will be so worth it. I just know I will make such an awesome best friend. I am just brimming with love and affection and can’t wait to give it all to a family. I make everyone at the rescue laugh, I love to carry something around in my mouth and it seems to make me all wiggly and I love to show it to you, it makes me so proud. If it is a tennis ball, all the better! I will need a home where any children are calm, respectful and at least 4 years old though with my shy nature. If you have another nice doggy sibling, I would love to meet them. I do super cute playbows and have a nice balanced play style. Oh, I almost forgot, I love to sneak up in your lap, so I hope my new family is ok with that and having lots of snuggle time! I sure hope you come and meet me soon. I don't know why, but I don't care for cats though, so no kitties for me! If you are interested in Lavender and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
